In 1869, the Russian chemist Mendeleev arranged the elements from small to large according to relative atomic mass. Through classification and induction, he created the first periodic table of elements, which revealed the inherent relationship between chemical elements. The connections make it constitute a complete system and become one of the important milestones in the history of chemical development.
