I think the poem in the title should describe a small county called Fengning in Hebei Province.
Fengning County is now Manchu Autonomous County.
In ancient times, it used to be the back garden of the Liao Dynasty. Because the land is vast and sparsely populated, the land is fertile and the grassland is lush, it is an important base for breeding horses in Daliao. Every emperor in the past dynasties basically set this as a royal hunting garden. Thanks to this, human intervention and destruction in this area are relatively few, and Fengning County also retains the original natural scenery.
In Fengning, you can see different plant zones. For example, larch forest with a group of squirrels hiding quietly, noble and unyielding birch forest, long-rooted and immortal poplar forest and so on. The plant richness in Fengning County is no less than that in any primeval forest park.
I like the multi-ethnic cultural atmosphere in Fengning best. Here, the Han nationality is more like a minority. Because there are more Manchu, Mongolian and Hui people than Han people. So you are in a small county, but you can experience the differences of many cultures. You can race horses with a group of Manchu men, drink with Mongolian brothers, dance your waist and sing loudly with young and beautiful Hui girls. Here, you can't feel the pressure of the fast-paced city and the insurmountable gap between classes. Everyone is equal and can enjoy life happily; Everyone is comfortable, even if the language is unreasonable, everyone is happy in the same land.
The travel experience in Fengning County is particularly wonderful. If there is an opportunity, I would like to get on the train to Fengning again and feel the rare fun again.
