The Twenty-Four Mountain Method is the biggest scientific proposition of Chinese Feng Shui, which is the unity of heaven, earth and man. In long-term practice, Chinese Feng Shui has summarized a set of specific operating methods regarding the relationship between heaven, earth and man, and summarized them in a complete operating tool, namely the compass.
The compass uses "Mao" to represent the east, "Wu" to represent the south, "You" to represent the west, "Zi" to represent the north, "Xun" to represent the southeast, and "Kun" to represent the southeast. In the southwest, "Qian" represents the true northwest, and "Gen" represents the true northeast. This is the main mountain of each hexagram, and its two sides are tilted to another direction. For example, "Chen, Xun, and Si" belong to the southeast, "Xun" is due southeast, and "Chen" belongs to the southeast and is tilted to the east, which is called Southeast by east, and "Si" belongs to the south in the southeast, so it is called southeast by south. The other twenty-four mountains are like this. Know the orientation of Mount Twenty-Four, find the vertical pole in the house, and then radiate lines in the twenty-four directions from this pole. You can use this method whether you are holding the sales plan or the interior floor plan of where you live now. Determine the direction inside the house.
The expression of the twenty-four mountain directions is the twelve earthly branches, eight stems and four dimensions: the twelve earthly branches are Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu and Hai. , the eight stems are A, B, Bing, Ding, Geng, Xin, Ren, and Gui, and the four dimensions are Qian, Kun, Gen, and Xun, which add up to twenty-four mountains.
When the twenty-four mountain directions are combined with the Bagua, the Bagua has eight directions, and each direction governs three mountain directions. Li Gua in the south governs Bingwuding, Xungua in the southeast governs Chen Xunsi, Zhen Gua in the east governs Jia Mao Yi, Gen Gua in the northeast governs Chou Gen Yin, Kan in the north governs Ren Zi Gui, Qian Gua in the northwest governs Xu Qian Hai, and Dui Gua in the west governs Gengyouxin, Southwest Kun hexagram governs Weikunshen.
In the twenty-four mountains of Zhengzhen, which is the seated position, some characters are red and some are black. Among them, the red characters are yang, which is good luck; the black characters are yin, which are bad luck. Therefore, the Twenty-Four Mountains have twelve yang directions and twelve yin directions, among which Ren, Zi, Gui, Yin, Jia, Yi, Chen, Wu, Kun, Shen, Xu, and Qian are red characters, which are yang; Chou, Gen, Mao, Xun, Si, Bing, Ding, Wei, Geng, You, Xin and Hai are black characters and are Yin.
Yang Gong believes that the nature of the universe must be symmetrical and harmonious, and there will be no favoritism for one or another. The key is whether the combination of time and space is timely. In this way, the twenty-four mountains are "divided into class components" to discuss good and evil. It’s not natural! As for dividing yin and yang, since there are many ways to divide it, it is understandable.
In Feng Shui's directions of coming dragon, coming water, sitting on a mountain, and standing, it is appropriate to have pure yin and yang, and avoid mixed yin and yang.
