Badminton court is a rectangular playground specially used for badminton training or competition. What are the parameters of a standard badminton court? Here, I give you some information about badminton venues and rules, hoping to help you.
I. Standard size drawing of badminton court
The standard size of badminton court is rectangular, and the width of each line is 4 cm. There shall be no obstacles above the court/within 0/2m of Kloc-and within 4m around it. The clear height of the center of the court is1.524m, and the clear height of the doubles sideline is1.55m. ..
Standard size of badminton court: the badminton court is rectangular, with a length of 13.40m, a width of 6. 10m for doubles and 5. 18m for singles. The line width of each line on the court is 4cm, measured from the outer edge of the line. It is best to draw the boundary of the court with white, yellow or other easily recognizable colors. According to the regulations of international competitions, the minimum height of the whole stadium is 9 meters. There must be no beams or other obstacles within this height, and there must be no obstacles within 2 meters around the stadium. There must be a distance of at least 2 meters between any two parallel courses. The walls around the court should be dark and not windy (see the figure below for the standard size of badminton court).
Second, the standard height of badminton court
Roof: The shape of the roof is very important, which not only affects the initial construction cost of the gymnasium, but also affects the heating cost when the gymnasium is running. For badminton, the higher the height of the gymnasium, the better. In fact, the roof height of the stadium is the decisive factor. Generally speaking, the standard height of badminton court on the eaves should not be less than 6.7m (this is the minimum height required for recreational badminton). If the slope of the roof is very low, it will hinder the flight of badminton in the air. Badminton court should be located between two adjacent roof beams, and the height of the roof beams should be at least 7m.
Height of badminton court: the standard height of badminton court tested by the Sports Commission for many times. The results show that the standard height of badminton competition venues in clubs and leagues is 7.6~8.4m. If the height is less than 7.6m, it is not suitable for holding high-level competitions. However, venues with a height of less than 7.6m can still be used to hold children's badminton and recreational badminton activities. In those sparsely populated areas, even if the standard height of badminton courts (the clear height from the bottom line to the roof) is slightly smaller, badminton courts are better than none.
Three. Introduction to badminton court rules
1. Floor: The floor of the badminton court can be made of wood, composite or synthetic materials, but no matter what materials are used, it is necessary to ensure that the floor does not slip. The floor finish should be dark, which can avoid the reflection of light and help athletes see the flight route of badminton clearly. In addition, the floor surface should be elastic to avoid injury to athletes.
Badminton court markings are 40ram in width and white in color. This mark is included in the total area of the site. If the marking color of the multi-function hall tennis court is white, then the marking color of the amateur badminton court can be yellow. But this will cause the lines on the floor to be too strong, which will interfere and distract the participants of other sports. At present, the logo color of badminton court is usually white. Bunting tennis is becoming more and more popular now. This sport is played in the badminton court. Using white as the logo color of badminton court will also be beneficial to short tennis.
You can also use temporary mats as badminton courts. People have tried to use PVC and other materials to make the surface of badminton court, but the experience surface of these two materials can't avoid some problems, including the surface is easy to wrinkle into a pile and too heavy. Special reels can be used to roll up the surface of the site, which is beneficial to both storage and transportation. Regarding the size of this venue, you should look at the total area listed in the space table before making a decision, especially the length of the venue, and be more cautious. If the total space of the site is the minimum space, then try to avoid raising the height of the site surface.
2. Wall: Badminton flies very fast and requires a high background. The background of the venue is directly related to whether the athletes can see the flight track of badminton clearly. Therefore, its importance cannot be overestimated. There'd better be a wall around the hall. The wall should be flat, and there should be no windows or glass on the wall. If it is really necessary to install windows on the walls at both ends of the hall, curtains or blinds must be drawn during badminton competition to avoid distractions for athletes. For top-level events, all other thoughts of athletes should be ruled out. No matter what level of badminton competition, all shelves or other protrusions that may get stuck in badminton should be removed, as well as basketball backboards for practice at the back of the field.
The color of the wall behind the bottom line should not be too bright, and the wall that is too bright reflects too much light. In fact, a dark curtain is usually pulled between the wall and the badminton court. This curtain is attached to the wall. The same applies to walls outside the sideline. Sometimes players will serve to the sideline of the opponent's half. The wall behind the two bottom lines of the site should be consistent.
