Hebi City is located in the north of Henan Province, and it is named after the legend that "cranes live on the cliffs of Nanshan". Established in March 1957 with the approval of the State Council, it is one of the cities under the jurisdiction of Henan Province. It has jurisdiction over two counties (Xunxian and Qixian), three districts (qibin district, Shancheng and Heshan) and Qibin Economic and Technological Development Zone, with a total area of 2,182 square kilometers and a total population of more than 1.4 million. Hebi is an important tourist area in Henan Province, with its unique cultural landscape and natural scenery. Fuqiu Mountain, Yunmeng Mountain and Wuyan Mountain have their own characteristics. The only unpolluted Qihe River in North China meanders through the territory with beautiful scenery on both sides, which is sung by The Book of Songs. There are many relatively complete ancient cultural relics here, such as iron smelting site from Warring States to Han Dynasty, ancient porcelain kiln site in Song Dynasty and coal mining site in Song Dynasty, which have high archaeological and historical value and have been listed as cultural relics protection units in provinces and cities. The mantle window of Shangyu volcano is called "the wonder of China", which can explore the mysteries of the depths below the earth's kilometer. Xunxian, formerly known as Liyang, is a national historical and cultural city. The stone Buddha in Tianning Temple, which was built 16 years ago, was chiseled against the mountain, with a height of 22.7 meters. The Buddha's feet were more than ten feet underground, forming the spectacle of "eight-foot Buddha and seven-foot building". Qixian County, called Chaoge in ancient times, is the ancient capital of Yin and Shang Dynasties. Yunmeng Mountain in China is known as "Yunmeng Wonderland". During the Warring States Period, Guiguzi Wang Chan gave lectures here and founded "the first ancient military academy in China".
cranes, since ancient times, symbolize beauty and good luck. The place where cranes fly and dance is undoubtedly yearned for by the world. Hebi used to be the hometown of cranes. According to historical records, "cranes lived on the cliffs of Nanshan in ancient times". There is also a beautiful legend about this record. There is a visiting mountain in the south of Hebi Town in the north of Hebi City, which was named after Zhou Wenwang came here to look for his son who was mutilated by Yin Zhou Wang. The local people commonly call it Nanshan. Although this mountain is not a lofty mountain, it is surrounded by Taihang mountains in the west, endless plains in the east, gurgling rivers in the north and beautiful hills in the south. Historical celebrities and sages visit this place, all of which are called geomantic treasures. In ancient times, the grass on the mountain was green, the pine and cypress were gloomy, the exotic flowers were in full bloom, and the birds were singing. At the beginning of the morning, the rainbow hangs in the air, and at the end of the evening, the haze is misty, the streams in the mountains are trickling, and the sound of the spring is tinkling. It is known as the reputation of "only hearing the sound of gold rings in the spring, how many people can be clear at the spring". This beautiful and pleasant natural scenery attracted the first family named Tao. Tao Laohan, the head of the household, is gentle, very kind-hearted, Buddhist, vegetarian, hardworking, simple and hospitable. Since he chose to build a house at the foot of Nanshan on the bank of the Weihe River, he has received countless tourists and pedestrians for more than a year. Over time, people have called him Tao Shanren. One evening, the old man Tao had just closed Chai Men to go to bed when he heard someone knocking at the door. He hurried to open the door to welcome the guests into the room. Under the light, the visitor was a Taoist priest. He was ugly, short and weak, with shabby clothes, sallow and emaciated face, white hair and long beard, but his eyes were bright. Holding it in your hand-waving the long road like raw light is particularly conspicuous. Old man Tao hurried forward to salute and ask about the cold and warmth. Master Chang was very enthusiastic. When he heard that the Taoist priest hadn't eaten yet, Tao Laohan quickly took out the fungus, mushrooms and mountain vegetables picked from Nanshan, took a pot and a basin, and cooked with a fire. It didn't take much time, but the old man Tao served the hot food, and the soil was not at all polite, so he began to eat it in a huff. After a full meal, the Taoist priest came to the courtyard and studied it carefully. He slowly said to the old man Tao, "The benefactor is kind-hearted and kind to others. People who are poor and become monks have nothing to send away. I think the screen wall in your courtyard is very clean. If you don't dislike it, I would like to paint a calligraphy and painting on this wall as a souvenir. What do you think of the benefactor?" Tao Laohan couldn't help himself, so he took pen and ink out of the room and handed it to the Taoist priest. I saw the Taoist priest thoughtfully for a moment, then bowed to Nanshan, and then sketched it with a splash of ink. In a moment, a vivid picture of a crane appeared on the screen wall. The Taoist priest finished painting and put pen to paper. He leapt to Nanshan in a blink of an eye and said goodbye to the old man Tao. When he stopped, he disappeared without a trace. The old man Tao hurriedly bowed down and shouted loudly, "Go slow, immortal!" All you can hear is the wind in Nanshan and the sound of the gurgling river. He stood up slowly, hating himself as blind as a bat, not knowing the immortal coming to earth, and only thinking about whether he had neglected the man of God. Thinking about thinking about it, I suddenly looked up and saw the crane on the screen wall shining brightly. Then, a ray of golden light shot down from the wall and fell to the ground to become eight cranes as white as jade, dancing in the yard and screaming. Old man Tao was so happy that he almost forgot himself and danced with the crane until dawn, and the crane went up to the screen wall again. For seven days in a row, the crane came out of the painting and danced in the dark, and went to sleep on the wall at dawn, which made the old man Tao happy all day. After a long time, the anecdote about the fairy crane dancing in the painting spread like wildfire. Tourists and pedestrians decided to stay for a few more days, while hundreds of people in Fiona Fang came in an endless stream to witness this wonder of the world. Cranes are also really understanding. The more people watch them, the more enthusiastic they are, flapping their wings and dancing. Not only do they take pictures at night, but sometimes they fly down the wall in sunny days. In this way, 49 days later, the old man Tao sat in front of the screen wall and carefully carried the ocean, saying to himself, "What if the wall cracks and the painting is destroyed over time?" Why don't I build a shed to protect it? " When I said it improperly, I only heard the "creaking" sound in the wall. In an instant, the dust fell from the wall, and eight cranes flew out of the wall and rushed straight to the cliffs of Nanshan. All of them stretched their necks and screamed, and the sound rang through the mountains. In an instant, thousands of cranes flew from the air to Nanshan, some soared in the air, some stood upright, and some spread their wings on the mountains, with different shapes. At this point, the cranes are constantly on the mountain, and the scenery is particularly fascinating. Some people say, "Old man Tao eats fast and does good deeds, and he wants to become an immortal." Some people say: "Nanshan has good feng shui, and it is necessary to produce nobles." People in Shannan and Haibei rushed to settle down here when they heard the news. Over time, it became a market town, and the people named it "Hebi Collection". As a result, Hebi, a poetic and beautiful name, is famous in China.
