When most parents are naming their babies, they will be curious about the number of people with the same name in China, and hope that the baby’s name will not overlap with too many people. Or some friends are just curious about how many people in China have the same name as themselves, so how do they perform a duplicate name query?
The Public Security Bureau officially provides an online query system for the number of people with the same name and the same name in the country (see the end of the article for the query entry).
Query method:
Visit the guidance page of the public security agency’s Chinese namesake and surname query system, and click “Check the number of people with the same name”.
In the pop-up window, select "Nationwide" and click "Confirm".
At this time, the user will be asked to log in. If you want to query, you must log in first. If you have registered before, fill in your ID number or mobile phone number, password, and verification code to log in. If you have not registered an account before, click "User Registration".
After pressing "User Registration", enter the "Personal Registration" interface and enter the corresponding information as prompted, such as user name, ID number, mobile phone number, login password, etc. ( You can leave it blank if there is no *).
When finished, click the "Register" button.
Then, real-name authentication is required. Only after real-name authentication is the registration successful.
Registered an account, log in using the account you just registered. When logged in, click "Check the number of people with the same name" mentioned at the beginning of the article to enter the national query system with the same name.
Fill in the name you want to query, select the gender, fill in the verification code, and click OK to check the results.
The picture below is the result of my random query for a name.
There are 1.4 billion people in the country, and the commonly used Chinese characters are limited, so people with the same name and surname are unavoidable. A name is just a code for addressing people. If you deliberately choose some words that are rarely used in order to avoid repetition of names, you will lose more than you gain, and even cause trouble. Just imagine the embarrassment when someone wants to call you by your name but doesn’t know how to say it, or wants to write your name but doesn’t know how to write it. Therefore, when choosing a name, you don’t need to pursue absolute differences in names. As long as the names are relatively different, for example, if you don’t encounter them that often and don’t have the same name among familiar people, it is enough.
