After more than 700 years of continuous attempts and innovations, "Crispy Fish Rot" has become a famous dish with Luoding local characteristics. Because Luoding crepe fish rot is shaped like a ball and has the meaning of roundness, the pronunciation of "fish rot" is homophonic with "getting richer". The color of the product is light yellow outside and silvery white inside, which is a symbol of making a fortune. Therefore, when people hold wedding, wedding, entering the house, birthday and other festive activities, they often regard it as the necessary finale of the banquet to pray for family reunion and happiness. Many restaurants (including some restaurants in Pearl River Delta, Hong Kong and Macao) also recommend it as a signature dish to customers. Crystal clear, thin and wrinkled, looks like a tulle; Known for its sweet and tender taste, crisp outside and soft inside, refreshing and tough, the products sell well in Guangdong, Hainan, Guangxi, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. 1986, when Hu Yaobang, then General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, visited Luoding, he tasted Luoding's "wrinkled fish rot" and gave him a high evaluation of "sweet and soft, comparable to delicacies". Since then, "Luoding Weaving Fish Rot" has been listed in the list of intangible cultural heritage protection in luoding city and protected. On February 24th, 20 10, Luoding wrinkled yarn fish rot was listed in the protection of national geographical indication products. According to legend, during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty, the brothers and sisters of Shuanglong Village in Luoding lived together and worked hard to make ends meet, but they all cooked well and enjoyed themselves.
