In 1949, Qingdao was liberated, and artists were reborn. The team edited and performed the first modern drama "Killing the Home Returning Troupe" in Qingdao drama circle, which was recorded together with Song Xunguang and then made into a recording of Liu Qiang records, which has been passed down to this day. Comrade Jiang Feng, president of Jiaodong Literary Association, named all the troupes in Qingdao. Zhang Xiuyun and Zhang Xiyun's sister's Liu Qiang team was changed to "Venus Liu Qiang Troupe"; Su Yanqin and Zeng Jinfeng's team are "Golden Light Troupe"; Liu Baoying's Peking Opera team in Guanglu Theater in the east gate of Taitung Commercial Market was renamed "* * * and Peking Opera Troupe"; Li Yuxiang's team was renamed Qingdao Guangming Troupe, headed by Li Yuxiang, and the troupe immediately moved to the Opera Hall of Shanghai Road Workers' Cultural Palace to sing Maoqiang. The reasons for changing Maoqiang are as follows: most of the audience in Dongzhen are from Jimo and Pingdu, and they love Liu Qiang; To the west of Xiaobao Island, most people are from Rizhao, Jiaozhou, Gaomi and Zhucheng. They like to listen to Maoqiang. Due to the high popularity of Yulan Erxiang in Qingdao, the opera hall, which can seat 4 spectators, is full. In order to meet the needs of the audience who are off duty on Sunday, matinee performances are also added. From 195 to 1959, before the troupe was transferred to the state, with the leadership of Li Yuxiang and the concerted efforts of all my colleagues, the troupe developed from a bachelor troupe to a repertoire capable of performing various themes, with all kinds of costumes, musical instruments and props.
Li Yuxiang is generous, tough and strong, with a cold face and a warm heart, and is ready to help others. After the marriage of Song Xunguang, the head of our troupe, and Zhang Xiuyun, she reluctantly gave up what she wanted to live for the couple and transferred Song Xunguang to the Liu Qiang Troupe. In 1952, Mr. "Deng Hongshan", a famous actor of Zibo Wuyin Opera (with a stage name of Fresh Cherry), came to perform in Qingdao at the invitation of Meng Jia of Xiangzihao, Qingdao, and exchanged and interacted with the troupe. At that time, the Wuyin Opera was only accompanied by gongs and drums, and there was no stringed instrument dubbing. Li Yuxiang spared no expense in our group's difficulties, but still took out three band members, Zhai Zhaosong (erhu), Jiang Mingshan (Beijing Opera Drum, Jinghu) and Zhang Xiaofeng, to go to Boshan (Zibo City) to help the Wuyin Opera Club set up music accompaniment. In 1959, after the troupe reported the performance in Jinjing, it performed in major cities in Liaoning Bay for the fellow villagers in Shandong who had traveled to Guandong that year to see their hometown operas. When the troupe arrived in Gaiping County (now Gai County), a local shadow play class wanted to move from behind the curtain to the front desk, and was named Shadow Play Troupe, asking for advice on organizing experience and stage performance skills. Li Yuxiang led the troupe to help each other as much as possible, performing at night and insisting on spreading the art to the shadow troupe during the day.
when the troupe began to take shape, considering the formal training of the next generation of Maoqiang successors, she realized that the low-level oral teaching method could not keep up with the trend of the times, so she invited four Peking Opera teachers to teach singing, reading and playing, and especially invited Mr. Guo Junying, a martial arts teacher, to teach her students to train, beat and jump according to the procedures of the Beijing Opera Troupe. In less than three years, the students' skills are comparable to those of local Peking Opera and martial arts, and they can perform "Xun Guan Niang" and "White Snake Turn" specially.
