How to determine if a company name is duplicate?

Enterprise names only need to be non-duplicate within the same geographical scope (such as province, city, county). Even if the same name is in the same region but not in the same category, it is not considered a duplicate.

The process of name verification for registered companies:

1. Name verification: Go to the Industry and Commerce Bureau to get an "Enterprise (trade name) name pre-approval application form" and fill in the information you are going to get. The company name will be searched online by the Industrial and Commercial Bureau (Internal Network of the Industrial and Commercial Bureau) to see if there is a duplicate name. If there is no duplicate name, you can use this name and a "Notice of Pre-approval of Enterprise (Trade Name) Name" will be issued.

2. Some naming and verification systems can also be used.
