Who coined the name Anyang?
The name originated from North Mongolia-Before Pan Geng moved to Yin, Anyang was called North Mongolia. In 13 BC, Pan Geng, the 2th king of Shang Dynasty, led his subjects to move to North Mongolia from Shandong. They call themselves "business". After the demise of Shang Dynasty, some people called them "Yin". Anyang-the name of Anyang began at the end of the Warring States Period. In 257 BC, Qin conquered the state of Wei, Ning Xinzhong, and changed its name to Anyang. Change Ning to An, and its meaning is similar. In ancient times, the north of Shuibei Mountain was the sun, and it was in the north of Qishui, hence the name Anyang. After Qin unified the six countries, the world was divided into 36 counties. Anyang is called Xiangzhou, also known as Yejun. Sui, Tang and Song dynasties all followed the name of Xiangzhou. Zhang de-In 1192 (Jin Dynasty), Xiangzhou was promoted to zhang de Prefecture. This is the beginning of the name of zhang de House. It was used in Ming and Qing dynasties until the early years of the Republic of China. In 1913, zhang de House was abandoned and it was restored to Anyang County. Anyang City was established in 1949, which belongs to Pingyuan Province. In 1952, the organizational system of Pingyuan Province was abolished, and Anyang City was a municipality directly under the Central Government of Henan Province.
