There is a restaurant in Hangzhou called Liyuan. This restaurant is not particularly expensive, but it is very difficult to make a reservation. Basically, there are only a few tables a day. If you want to eat here, you must make a reservation in advance. , the dishes here taste very good. Introduction to Liyuan
How to order: Make a reservation by phone
Liyuan·Bajiaobei is located in Hangzhou. It is in a cafe at No. 61 Santaiyunshe. The scenic environment is elegant and a view It looks like a "simple" three-story white building, with the inner garden hidden inside. The cafe on the first floor has a nice environment and is very atmospheric. Climbing up the stairs to the 2nd and 3rd floors is where the private dining room is, with 2 private rooms. There are only 2 private rooms with good sex per day, and each table only has 8-10 people.
Liyuan adopts the form of a family banquet, specializing in traditional Hangzhou cuisine, and is managed by Master Yang alone. The original Liyuan was located in Osmanthus City, in a small courtyard that was quiet amid the bustle. It was a place that didn’t look like a restaurant, and the name Liyuan came from this. After several moves, it was finally moved to the current Santaiyunshe Village.
We don’t expect the store location to be good enough to attract customers, and we don’t rely on advertising. We only invest these resources in the development of dishes and improve the overall service level. In order to manage the two large tables in an orderly manner, Liyuan insists on a guest reservation system, customized dishes, fresh ingredients and traditional kitchen skills. Reduce the waste of time and ingredients, and prepare safe ingredients in traditional ways.
It is a black pearl and a diamond, and it is also a relatively mysterious one among the many black pearl restaurants in Hangzhou. I've eaten at other Black Pearl restaurants in Hangzhou, but I can't get a date at Liyuan!
Many friends in the circle of friends have eaten there, and the reviews are unanimously good. Dianping has a rating of 4.82, which is considered a high-scoring restaurant.
The location of the Liyuan is in Santaiyunshe Village. There is Octagon Cup Coffee on the first floor and private rooms on the second and third floors.
There is no a la carte dine-in service, and the tables are never turned over. This is not suitable for business banquets. This is a place where people can simply eat.
Liyuan serves traditional Hangzhou cuisine, and is managed by Master Yang.
In the past, we only served one table a day, but now there are slightly more, two tables at noon and three tables at night. But even so, it's still not easy to book. If you don’t do it 3 months in advance, it will basically be difficult.
When there was one table a day, the kitchen and dining room were together.
Master Yang cooks it while everyone eats it. It only takes 10 seconds from the time the dish is cooked to the time it is served to the table. The dishes everyone eats are full of flavor.
It seems that someone complained later and was not allowed to do this (maybe it was a safety issue). Master Yang built a kitchen on the first floor. Not only did he have to climb up a flight of stairs to serve food, but everyone couldn't watch Master Yang's cooking show while eating.
The average number of people in Liyuan is 300. There is no fixed menu and everything is served directly with side dishes.
Usually there are about 20 dishes per table for 8-10 people. We will order the menu with you about a week in advance. If you feel that a few dishes are not quite to your taste, you can communicate and make fine adjustments.
The specific menu mainly depends on Master Yang’s mood and the season, but don’t worry, basically every dish will not make you upset.
You can also bring your own drinks, and there is no corkage fee. There are also some drinks, beers, and sodas in each box, which you can take for yourself at no extra charge.
Only these two points are enough to be more conscientious than most restaurants. Dishes Introduction
There are six cold dishes, shrimp oil chicken, drunken crab, frozen meat, two-ended black sausage, radish, and lettuce, all with ordinary dish names.
Frozen meat is relatively special. The traditional Hangbang cuisine is roasted pork with bamboo shoots, which is frozen and then cut into pieces.
The meat is already soft and rotten, and the oil from the fat meat slowly penetrates into the bamboo shoots and the aspic. Compared with the hot bamboo shoots and the roasted meat, it is not greasy.
The drunken crabs are also good. The drunken crabs in Liyuan are raw and drunk. Shengzui is just marinating live hairy crabs. It has a strong alcohol flavor and the crab roe is black.
Most people don’t dare to eat raw drunk, but I think raw drunk is particularly delicious and intoxicating.
There are too many hot dishes to introduce them one by one
Potsticks and fish fillets are Liyuan’s signature dish. If not specified, every table must have side dishes.
The texture of the pot sticker fish fillet has three layers. The top layer is minced ham, the middle is soft fish meat, and the bottom layer is crispy lard, with egg white as the binder.
When you eat it, the bottom layer of pork is particularly crispy and has the unique taste and aroma of oil residue.
You must eat it within 10 seconds after it is served, and do not allow too many photos, otherwise it will not taste good. So everyone’s time to take photos was very tight.
Chili-flavored river eel is also one of Liyuan’s signature dishes.
This is my first time to eat chewy river eel. This dish is a combination of eel and pepper, which is full of sauce. It should also be eaten while it's hot, as it won't be crispy when it's cold.
This dish of fried whole gizzards is cooked very well, and the cut is just right, not hard or tough, and the mouth is crispy and tender. A very smoky dish.
When the waiter brought it to us, he reminded us again to eat it while it was hot.
When eating in Hangzhou and Shanghai, you can’t escape from a pot of pickled fresh food. This dish is so fresh that it can swallow your tongue. The fresh bamboo shoots, the flavorful fresh meat, and the ham are so fresh that they fly away.
Turtle steamed mutton is steamed turtle and mutton meatballs, referred to as tortoise lamb.
This dish seems to have almost no seasoning, it is the original taste of the food. There is a plate of soy sauce on the side, whether it is soft-shell turtle or mutton balls, you can eat it directly.
I have eaten a lot of yellow croaker, but this is the first time I have steamed it covered with lard net.
This deep-sea yellow croaker with net oil is very interesting. It is covered with a layer of lard net. When eating, remove this layer of net and eat the yellow croaker directly. Master Yang said that lard is the nuclear weapon for steaming fish, and the fish meat steamed in this way is extremely tender.
Pomfret grilled rice cake, a rich style dish.
The pomfret has only one backbone, with many thorns and few thorns. It is delicious to eat in large chunks. The unique feature is that it is paired with Hangzhou’s local rice cakes. The soft and glutinous rice cakes absorb the rich flavor of the fish. The soup is so delicious.
Soy sauce hairtail is also a dish that tastes the true taste of food. The freshest hairtails are steamed, and only those that are not fresh enough are fried.
The swimming crab cakes are so plump and full of crab roe.
Bell Snowflake Beef, melt-in-your-mouth beef paired with green bells, is a sublimation of the classic Hangzhou cuisine fried bells. It also reflects Chef Yang’s uncompromising approach to the ingredients in his dishes.
Although Master Yang cooks Hangzhou cuisine, he has also begun to keep pace with the times by matching the dishes on the table with the dishes on the table.
For example, shepherd's purse chopped shrimp garden, rice wine and sweet-scented osmanthus coffee, each has one serving.
A table costs 300 per person. Overall, the price is reasonable.
In fact, this also explains why you have to queue for 3 months to eat in Liyuan. There are few private dining seats and the per capita consumption is not high, but the taste is not inferior to Jinsha, Ziwei, Erba, and Yuexuan.
Of course the supply exceeds the demand.
