The ancients took "names" and "characters" in various ways.
1.
The name has the same meaning as the word: Zhang Heng of the Eastern Han Dynasty, surnamed Zhang, Ming Heng, and the word Yupingzi. "Horizontal" and "flat" have the same meaning and can be combined into "balance". Zhu Suiliang, a calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, wrote a good hand. Ceng Gong, a litterateur in the Song Dynasty, is a real writer. Good and good, hard and real are synonyms, and they can all be classified as "good" and "solid". This is synonymous with each other. Complement each other.
2.
The names bring out the best in each other: Bai Juyi, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, has a surname of Bai, a name of Juyi and a word of Lotte. "Happiness" and "easy life" are complementary.
3.
Names and characters have opposite meanings: the Song Dynasty philosopher, surnamed Zhu, has the meaning of a name, and the characters are not good. Jia is the dawn and light, Yuan is the beginning, the first, the main and the fundamental, and the gloom is not obvious. If "Hui Yuan" begins to dim, it is just the opposite of dawn and light.
4.
The names and characters are taken from ancient books: Zhao Yun, a famous soldier in the Three Kingdoms period, was named Zhao, Mingyun and Zilong. (Zhouyi) There are: "Clouds follow dragons and winds follow tigers".
5.
The cooperation between Ming and Yu: Tang Yin in Ming Dynasty, surnamed Tang, whose name is Bohu. On the relationship between the branch and the zodiac, they are: rat, ugly cow, silver tiger and hairy rabbit.
