Moujia Community
The Origin of the Village During the Wanli Period of the Ming Dynasty, the ancestors of the Mou family immigrated here from Yunnan and named it "Moujia".
Population of the Administrative District
It is 7.5 kilometers away from the Zhonghan Street Office, adjacent to Hutou Mountain and Shoantou Mountain in the east, a large water source in the west, and Shazikou Street in the north and northeast respectively. It borders Beilongkou and Nanlongkou communities, and is adjacent to Kutao community in the south. Attractions such as "Hutou Mountain" and "Strange Stone Hat" in the east of the community are beautiful, mysterious and quiet. On October 24, 2004, the new Ocean University of China campus was built in the west of the community with an investment of approximately 1.4 billion yuan and a total construction area of ??approximately 580,000 square meters. At the end of 2004, there were 509 households with 1,351 residents. Most of them had the surname Mou, accounting for 66% of the total population. The rest had surnames such as Wang, Dong, Liu, and Qu.
Appearance of Moujia Village
Most adult men in this community are mainly engaged in carpentry and bricklaying, accounting for more than half of the total. Housewives used to be mostly engaged in hand embroidery and sewing. A small number of people make a living by opening noodle mills and processing vermicelli, a traditional handicraft industry, by raising livestock and driving carts. In 1986, the community used the original yellow clay resources to build a brick yard. In addition to community residents starting to breed flowers and saplings, some residents rented land and built breeding plants that mainly raised dairy cows and chickens. In the 1990s, the mining of rocks from Donghutou Mountain and Tuantou Mountain in the community began, which caused damage to the natural landscape of the mountain. Later, the mining was stopped in accordance with the unified requirements of Qingdao City. Currently, three-dimensional greening is being carried out, and the development of industrial and commercial enterprises is accelerated. Build a kiln factory, open a stone factory, set up a wood processing factory, and introduce a Laoshan mineral water factory. With an investment of 200,000 yuan, a 1.5-kilometer-long asphalt road connecting Songling Road was built, and the road into the community connecting Lisha Highway was renovated. There are currently one community-run kindergarten and one private kindergarten. In 1989, we invested in drilling water wells, and every household had tap water. In 2001, cable TV was installed for community residents, the main roads in the community were hardened, street lights were installed, garbage pools were built, and dedicated personnel and vehicles were dispatched to clean up regularly every day. In the 1950s and 1960s, the community once formed Liu Opera, Lu Opera and other performance troupes. The Lu Opera "The Remarry of Second Sister Li" written and performed by the community was very famous in nearby communities. In 2004, the total economic income of the community was 72 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 6210.2 yuan.
