Wang Mingkui (1874-1944) was the founder of Yucheng Five-Spice Boneless Braised Chicken.

A native of Yueyawan Village, a street in the city.

When he was 18 years old, he learned how to cook braised chicken. Later, he asked an old Chinese medicine doctor to select five kinds of herbs for seasoning. The braised chicken was made with five flavors and was called "five-spice braised chicken".

Because the bones and flesh of the hand-held chicken legs were separated, it was named "Five-Spice Boneless Braised Chicken".

Wang Kekou (1916-1944), formerly known as Wang Ruqing, was the political commissar of the Second Regiment of the Fourth District of Northwest Shandong.

In April 1936, he joined the Communist Party of China.

He has participated in more than a hundred battles, large and small. He is loyal to the party, brave in combat, and capable of commanding. He has a high reputation in northwest Shandong.

In May 1944, Wang Kekou led his troops to attack the puppet military headquarters in Niujiaodian, Dong'a County, but was unfortunately shot and died.
