Dong Yun is a succulent plant, belonging to Lycopodium of Sedum. Its leaves are unique in shape, oblong and fleshy. They are waxy green in normal growth period, but they will turn pink to crimson and sometimes even purple in an environment with sufficient sunlight and suitable temperature difference. Also known as the Red East Cloud. Its stems are drawn from the axils of leaves, with cymes and small orange-red flowers, which usually bloom in late winter solstice and spring.
