The origin of the Zhicheng Louzi River in Yidu: Zhicheng Town was named Danyang in ancient times. According to legend, during the Warring States Period, there were three little princes in the Chu State. They drank in the capital of Yingdu (now Jingzhou) and took a boat to the river. Going up the river, when we visited today's Zhicheng, we saw from the bow of the boat that the Yangtze River was winding up and down, like a small boat without sails and oars, and this ancient town standing beside the river was like a small town nestled next to the boat. The sun, so Sanran's poetry became popular, one sentence per person: Looking at the rolling Yangtze River from a distance, it is like a light boat sailing on land, with the sun shining into the cabin... Finally, they all said Danyang in unison. They think that the boat without sails and oars is like a Dan character, and this place is like the sun nestling next to the boat. At the same time, they reported to their father, who accepted their opinions and named the ancient town Danyang. Dan also means loyalty, and the sun is immortal. Naming this ancient city Danyang also hopes that the people here will be loyal to the Chu royal family and wish that the Chu country can prosper and live forever. From then on, the Chu royal family identified Danyang as a geomantic treasure, and members of the royal family were willing to be buried here after their deaths. According to legend, the original name of Chengpo Nao today is Fuxing Mountain, and folklore says that the tomb of King Chuzhuang is here. Many burial objects of Chu nobles have been unearthed in Louzihe, which seems to confirm this legend.
