"The best thing about summer is having fun after school." Hey, it's time to go back to grandma's house again this summer! Grandma’s vegetable garden is enough for me to enjoy!
To the east of the vegetable garden is a farmland, in which cucumbers, tomatoes and corn are the most grown. Miss Cucumber, wearing a little yellow hat and a sun-protective green coat, walked out on the catwalk! Tomato was wearing a little green hat, but it couldn't block the strong sunlight, which made his face turn red. Isn't it Grandpa Corn who is laughing there? He stroked his gray beard with his hand, sat on the emerald green rocking chair, and swayed leisurely.
To the west is the fruit shed, and the fruits have their own characteristics. Watermelon is fat, round, and has a fiery heart. His black and green stripes are like camouflage uniforms, hiding him among the leaves and melon vines. Oranges were smiling on the tree. They were all wearing golden coats, and they were all smiling. They were so heavy that they bent the branches! Grapes are the most beautiful. They are like crystal pearls, exquisite and clear, shining with an alluring luster, making people fall in love at first sight.
There is a small pond in the south. In summer, cicadas are playing dance music on the big trees beside the pond. In the pond, the fish were playing happily in the water, and they would float to the surface from time to time, with strings of bubbles popping out. There were also some small fish, and they even hid under the lotus leaves to enjoy the cool air! On the water, several lotus flowers stood gracefully, and on the side, the emerald green lotus leaves set off them. It was like "the lotus leaves touching the sky are infinitely green, and the lotus flowers reflecting the sun are uniquely red." Just then, a dragonfly stopped on the newly emerged lotus leaves, using "The little lotus has just revealed its sharp corners, and a dragonfly has already stood on its head" is the most suitable description.
To the north is the place where animals are raised. There is a big yellow dog there, and it comes to me every day to get some food. Sometimes, I even tease it with a wooden stick. Although it is big, it is very docile. It is both my playmate and grandma's caretaker. The bravest one is General Goose. The goose’s eyes are so big that everything he sees is so big that he even dares to rush towards a car when he sees it!
The summer vacation has passed, but I will never forget my grandma’s vegetable garden. Grandma’s vegetable garden essay 2
There is an open space behind grandma’s house. Grandma said: "It's a pity to be deserted, why not plant some vegetables!" Our whole family agreed unanimously. So grandma started planting vegetables and pouring fertilizer.
As soon as summer arrives, the vegetable garden becomes full of life.
You see, some tomatoes are like longans, small, round, exquisite and cute; some are like ripe apples, big and red, just looking at them is intoxicating. There are rows of cucumber stands dotted with yellow flowers, and in some places there are cucumbers of all sizes hanging! Some are like crescent moons, and some are like batons. The big and fat eggplants are particularly smelly. Some are wearing green robes, some are wearing purple robes, and they bend the branches. The peppers are pointed, like folded umbrellas. The colors are green and red, making this small vegetable garden colorful. The big pumpkin like a millstone lay quietly on the ground, and even the leaves exuded the fragrance of earth.
Grandma also planted a few corn plants beside the vegetable garden, protecting the small vegetable garden like a row of sentinels.
This small vegetable garden seems to have become grandma’s treasured land. Every morning, the hard-working grandma would always go there and caress them. As the breeze swayed, they shouted happily: "Hello grandma! Good morning!" At this time, grandma's eyes narrowed into slits, and her face was filled with a happy smile.
In the evening, grandma always carries a small bucket to the vegetable garden and water the vegetables. Not only does she keep them full, but she also gives them a comfortable bath. As a result, they became stronger, greener, and more lovable.
It’s grandma’s small vegetable garden—a treasure in grandma’s heart. Grandma’s vegetable garden essay 3
There is an open space in front of grandma’s house, which is the world of animals.
The hen was foraging for food with a group of chicks; the rooster strode around; occasionally, a group of geese swaggered past with their heads held high.
There is a clear river next to the open space, with an exquisite small stone bridge above it. Under the bridge, you can usually see a group of ducks playing and foraging in the water. Even if there is a woman washing clothes nearby, they are never surprised.
Behind grandma’s house is a beautiful small vegetable garden. In spring, Chinese cabbage emerges from the soil, like little white and fat babies, and neat carrots also take out their tender green leaves.
My grandma led me to a green vegetable field. She told me that this was Chinese cabbage. She led me to a row of seedlings and said, "These are pea seedlings." Everything in the green rapeseed field made me feel fresh and curious.
I saw some vegetable seedlings that looked like celery, so I asked my grandma: "Grandma, is this celery?"
Grandma smiled and said: "No, this is a radish!"
Living in the city, I have only seen big red radishes. This was the first time I saw radishes growing in the ground. I felt very strange.
I curiously grabbed the leaves of the radish and pulled them up. I thought what I pulled out was a heavy big radish, but I didn't expect that what I pulled out was a small thin root.
"Grandma, is this a carrot?" I asked doubtfully.
"Silly boy, this carrot is too small to be pulled out!" A smile appeared on grandma's wrinkled face.
It seems that I am still just a "layman" in the vegetable garden!
When you have time, please go for a walk in the countryside. The sky there is blue, the trees are green, and the water is clear... Grandma’s vegetable garden essay 4
Today at noon , I want to go back to grandma’s house for dinner because my mother is on a business trip and my father’s work is too far away. The most attractive thing to me in my grandma’s house is the small vegetable gardens. I haven’t seen them for many days, and I don’t know what the small vegetable gardens have grown into.
With curiosity, I entered the yard and was amazed by the scenery inside. Many of the plants are half as tall as a person, and they are so beautiful! When I entered the house, I found that grandma was making my favorite clear soup noodles. I quickly took off my coat, took my chopsticks and slurped up the noodles. While I was eating, my grandma asked me: "Do you want to put some coriander?" I especially liked the taste of coriander, so I replied, "Of course!" Grandma smiled and said, "Go to the fields to pick it up!" Then she stood up and walked out the door. Go. I rushed to the front and found cilantro. Just when I was about to pull it out, my grandma said to me: "When you pull it out, don't pull it out by the roots, but cut it off in the middle, so that the coriander can continue to grow." I used my nails to cut off the stem of the coriander. I washed the coriander, put it under my nose and smelled it, and immediately smelled the unique fragrance of coriander. Put the coriander in the bowl and the noodles will taste better.
After dinner, my grandma and I went to see the "sky vegetable garden" on the roof. We saw leeks planted on the east side, and green radish on the west side, which was larger. , lettuce, cabbage, green onions, carrots, etc. Although it is winter, the vegetable garden is still lush. Grandma told me that I had to water them. I took the water pipe, opened the faucet, and sprinkled water on them evenly. I turned around and watched the water droplets falling in the air. I was so happy! I also picked up the faucet and sprayed it upwards to simulate falling raindrops. The blossoming leaves are being beaten by raindrops, and they are very beautiful!
This is true: the fresh vegetable garden is very beautiful, hard work pays off, the fun of watering comes naturally, and pastoral life is really comfortable. Grandma’s vegetable garden essay 5
There are many wonderful things in nature, including cute little animals and tall buildings, but what impressed me most was grandma’s vegetable garden.
My grandparents live in a small village. Every household in the village has its own small vegetable garden. Some people’s vegetable gardens are decorated with a few small flowers, and some people plant them full of small trees. It is a cluster of flowers, colorful and colorful. But I still like the simple and unpretentious yard of my grandpa’s house.
My grandfather’s vegetable garden looks messy from the outside, but when you take a closer look, the vegetable plot is divided into orderly areas. Tomatoes are planted in this area, and corns are planted in this area. , where to plant peppers. The white mulch film looks like it has been brushed with a brush, the white is translucent and the white is refreshing.
And the corn, which is already more than one meter high, stands around the vegetable garden, guarding the harmonious home like a guard.
In the morning, a ray of sunshine shines on the dewdrops on the leaves, golden, like A piece of gold, these dewdrops fell from one leaf to another, and some fell on the mulch, making a crisp sound. The sunlight shines on the tomatoes, giving them a touch of luster, and it shines on the newly grown seedlings, which is also very beautiful. The whole vegetable garden is full of life.
At noon, small white and yellow butterflies landed on the cucumber flowers and Japanese melons. No matter how hot the weather was, the proud Qing Cai raised her head. The potato is buried deep in the ground, but it doesn't complain because it lives in this harmonious home.
This unpretentious vegetable garden is full of life. Although it does not have colorful flowers and rows of small trees, I like my grandma’s vegetable garden. Grandma’s vegetable garden composition 6
During the summer vacation, my father took me to my grandma’s house not far away for dinner. Every time I went, I stayed at grandma’s house for a while! Because the vegetable garden there makes me feel fresh and curious.
This vegetable garden is no ordinary vegetable garden. Not only do all kinds of vegetables grow here, grandma also plants many colorful flowers around the garden. In summer, crops here also bloom, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, and eggplants, blooming with their own beauty. But they are much inferior to the flowers around the garden. My favorite is the "Canna", with large leaves like banana fans, and large Chinese red flowers growing on the pole in the middle, covered with crystal clear dewdrops, shining in the morning sun. I can't help but want to pick it.
Suddenly in front of my eyes, a small yellow butterfly flew into the vegetable garden, and disappeared under the cover of tomato flowers. Tomato flowers are yellow, not as dazzling as rape flowers, nor like rape flowers. It was so golden, and after a while I recognized the yellow butterfly. The lovely yellow butterfly added vitality to the vegetable garden.
In addition to flowers in the vegetable garden, I still prefer the fruits. The corn has a red beard and wears a green robe; the tomatoes hang like lanterns among the green branches and leaves; the yellow-mouthed eggplants are purple and black inside, and their shiny outer skin makes me salivate; the cucumbers are green and covered with thorns, and they are energetic. A warrior.
Because I am a foodie, I couldn’t help but pick a cucumber. I took a bite without even washing it. The tender thorns pricked my little hands, making me feel its freshness and crunchy texture in my mouth. The cucumber is thirst-quenching and refreshing.
This vegetable garden is grandma’s lifeblood. She watered the vegetable garden every day, looked for insects, and then caught them one by one. Looking at the fresh vegetables in this big garden, with the fragrance of the earth, I feel like I am among them, watching the work of bees and butterflies, and at the same time enjoying the fruits of grandma's labor. Grandma's vegetable garden essay 7
Grandma's vegetable garden is the place I yearn for the most. I especially like the beautiful scenery there. Every time I go to grandma's house, I always go to the vegetable garden to play. Grandma watered, fertilized, and caught insects every day to make the vegetables grow strong and fresh.
When I first walked into the vegetable garden, I saw green in front of me. At the front of the vegetable field is water spinach. Next to the freshly planted water spinach, there is a small wooden stick about ten centimeters inserted. I asked my grandma curiously: What is going on? Grandma said: The wooden sticks serve as a fixed support to prevent the seedlings from being blown down by the wind. It turned out to be this, I suddenly realized. It seems that there is knowledge in growing vegetables.
The next thing that comes into view is amaranth. The leaves of small amaranth are green and reddish, which is very similar to the gradient I learned in painting. I ate this kind of dish when I was a child. Its soup was rose red, and when it was poured into the rice, the rice turned rose red. My grandma called this kind of rice Piao Piao Rice. This nice name always made me eat more when I was a kid.
Going further, there is a row of triangles made of bamboo poles, with the top fixed with ropes, like an umbrella, with a row of small vegetable seedlings underneath. Grandma introduced: These are carob beans, which are climbing and light-loving plants. If they are not set up, they will be intertwined and affect each other, thus reducing production! Grandma knows so much, I couldn’t help but give a thumbs up.
At the end of the vegetable garden are pepper seedlings. Some of them have small white flowers, and some of the flowers have turned into green peppers. Grandma said that these peppers will soon turn into red peppers covered in red robes, which can be used to make chopped peppers.
Looking at these newly unearthed seedlings, I seem to see purple eggplants, red tomatoes, and peppers in red robes waving to me! Grandma’s vegetable garden essay 8
There is a small vegetable garden behind grandma’s house, with different scenery throughout the year.
In the spring, grandma sown spinach seeds. After a misty spring rain, the spinach grew two small, green, pointed leaves, like two good friends dancing together.
In summer, grandma built a shelf with bamboo poles. This was a good place for cucumbers and peas to grow. They kept climbing up the shelf, and soon the cucumbers and peas bloomed with yellow and pink-purple flowers respectively, which really looked like the beautiful little hats worn by the little girls. After the flowers fade, the cucumbers slowly grow up. Pick one off, wash it, and bite it in one bite. Oh, it smells fresh and crisp, so refreshing!
In autumn, cucumbers and peas "withdraw" from the vegetable garden, but green onions "make a brilliant appearance". Some are straight, like dignified sentries; some have green onion buns popping out, like green ice cream; and some green onions are crooked, "bowing" to people. Whenever this happens, I can eat my favorite "fried eggs with chopped green onion".
In winter, the "high-legged" radishes carry green leaves, and the fat cabbage has a "belt" tied around its waist. After a heavy snowfall, the vegetable garden became much quieter. The garlic field was covered with a thick blanket of snow, dreaming of the coming of spring.
Grandma’s vegetable garden not only provides charming scenery all year round, but also provides our family with a variety of delicious vegetables. Grandma's vegetable garden essay 9
I like to go to grandma's house the most, because grandma's house has a small vegetable garden, which is a paradise for harvest.
There is a dirt road leading to my grandma’s small vegetable garden. I walked there for a while. Although it is late autumn, grandma’s small vegetable garden is still a vibrant scene. Chaotian peppers hang on the branches like strings of firecrackers, which is very beautiful. Luffa is hiding under the loofah leaves. If you pull it with your hands, you will see a lot of it. The red lentils looked shiny under the sunlight, making me want to take a bite just looking at them. The purple eggplant also hangs high on the branches, as if showing off its charm to me. From a distance, there is a large green vegetable field. If you walk in and observe carefully, you will be pleasantly surprised to find the white and tender cauliflowers hidden in the green.
Newly planted cauliflowers. The rapeseed has revealed its tender green sprouts. Grandma told me that these vegetables will be ready to eat in a few days. The newly planted cabbage is already as big as the mouth of a bowl and is growing very well. Further inside is the corn grown by grandma. Grandma grows corn several times a year just so that we can eat fresh corn. The corn is very sweet and delicious. I love eating the corn grown by grandma the most. There are many melons planted next to the corn, including winter melons and pumpkins of various shapes.
Grandma’s vegetable garden not only grows a lot of vegetables, but also a lot of fruit trees. The most eye-catching thing is the jujube tree. The red dates are hanging all over the branches. They are big, crisp and sweet. They are really delicious. There are also small peaches that are ripe. Although my grandma’s peaches are not big, they are very sweet. When you look at the green and red color, you know they are very delicious. I also picked a lot of them. There are also sweet figs, grinning at me.
I gained a lot from my visit to grandma’s house this time.
I love my grandma’s house, and I love my grandma’s small vegetable garden even more. Grandma's vegetable garden essay 10
There is a small vegetable garden in front of grandma's house. There are many "residents" in the vegetable garden, including eggplants, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes, beans, leeks, winter squash, pumpkins, etc. He is considered the "elder" in the vegetable garden.
Entering summer, grandma’s small vegetable garden begins to turn red and green. Among them, the cucumber was the first to stretch its neck and stretch its head on the border of the field, as if looking for something anxiously. Within a few days, the cucumber seedlings climbed onto the bamboo poles that had been set up in advance. Peppers and cucumbers are neighbors, and it also wants to compete with cucumbers, but it is not born to grow tall, so it has no choice but to be inferior in front of the cucumber seedlings. Both tomatoes and eggplants are named "qie", but they have different temperaments. Tomatoes are impatient and grow very fast, while eggplants are just the opposite. They are not anxious at all and grow slowly. Surrounding the vegetable garden are the homes of winter squash and pumpkins. They curve and coil along the fence, forming a natural green barrier to protect the residents in the small vegetable garden. The breeze blows, and they shake the green leaves like cattail fans, making a rustling sound.
When I woke up early in the morning and saw the dew-covered vegetable seedlings tender and juicy, I felt an indescribable feeling. The residents living in the vegetable garden seem to have seen the owner's thoughts. Every one of them is full of flowers and fruits. The cucumber is still leading the way. First green beans grow between its leaves, and then golden flowers bloom. The flowers and fruits always appear together. I don’t know whether the flowers are pulling the fruits or the fruits are pushing the flowers. , within a few days, the shelves were covered with long cucumbers. When the peppers saw the fruits of cucumbers, they were not to be outdone. Countless white flowers bloomed at some point. As soon as the flowers fell, the "green pockets" swelled up. After a while, the "red pockets" also hung up. . Tomatoes have the most fruits, one next to the other. The orchard was really full of life at this time.
I love my grandma’s small vegetable garden because it is full of life and hope. Grandma’s vegetable garden essay 11

Grandma’s vegetable garden is colorful and colorful. I have to visit my grandma’s vegetable garden every summer.
As soon as I stepped through the door, the first thing I saw was my grandma’s vegetable garden.
Green is the carpet, red and yellow are the main colors, and purple and pink are the supporting colors. It is a beautiful pastoral scene. If you look carefully, you will see that the red strawberries are almost ripe one by one, like little dolls wearing little red riding hoods that have just emerged, shaking their heads and playing together; among these low vegetables, mixed The colorful morning glories are so beautiful. Oh, there are green rapeseed, cabbage, and bitter greens over there. These are grandma's favorite vegetables.
Go further in, and you will see those big purple eggplants, each with their heads drooping, probably because they were burned by the sun. The unripe persimmons are still green and are enjoying the sun bath. After passing through a field of edamame, we came to the territory of corn, where huge corn cobs showed off their attractive figure. Hey, what is that? Of course the beans that are planted in the middle of the corn fields and wrapped around them are beans. Some of those beans are big and thick, and some are skinny. They probably feel like they are rich. Look at them. A feeling of elated happiness.
There is a big apple tree in the middle of the vegetable garden. It is my favorite, because every year when the fruits are not ripe, I have already reached out to pick those slightly green fruits. When the fruits are ripe, I can only shake the tree with my hands or hit the branches with a bamboo pole. Anyway, I will basically eat all the fruits on the tree in one summer, and grandma is too lazy to care about me. Sometimes they would advise me: if the fruit is not ripe enough, my teeth will be sore, and I will always regret it if I get rid of the tooth disease.
This is my grandma’s vegetable garden, and it is also the epitome of grandma’s pastoral life. Of course, it is also the beautiful scenery that I have always longed for in my childhood, and the moving picture of perseverance in moving forward. Composition 14 of Grandma’s vegetable garden

The small vegetable garden in front of my grandma’s house is well planned. The spinach on the left is green and juicy, the lettuce on the right holds its head high, and the air is filled with the fragrance of rapeseed flowers. I broke off a petal and put it on my tongue, feeling the sweetness in my taste buds. "Three or two branches of peach blossoms outside the bamboo, ducks are prophets of the warmth of the spring river." A group of quacking ducks swam by the small river next to the vegetable garden. I stamped my feet and the ducks flapped their wings for a while.
I pushed open the fence door and carried a small hoe specially made by my grandfather on my shoulder. On the small hoe was a bag with a handful of rapeseeds. I want to learn from my grandma and farm. I lifted up the hoe, loosened the hard soil, sprinkled water, bent down, sprinkled the seeds evenly, and finally covered it with a thin layer of soft soil... Every morning and evening, I would run to the vegetable garden to take a look, fully expecting the seeds. germination.
As the seeds I sown with my own hands sprout, my mood is like a calm lake, stirring up layers of waves and ups and downs of joy. The expectation of a good harvest, the joy of growth, and the worry that the vegetable seedlings may be eaten by pests. Sometimes I open my eyes wide and imagine that I am a woodpecker that eliminates pests for the people, practicing medicine in the vast fields and protecting the health of all things.
I would like to be a seed that grows in my grandma’s vegetable garden, bathed in sunshine, rain and dew, and thrives. Grandma’s vegetable garden essay 15
