Zhang Qiusheng was born in Shanghai on August 1939. Member of Chinese Writers Association. China is a famous children's writer who studied in Shanghai No.4 Normal University. 1958 began to publish children's songs and poems. He used to be the editor of children's magazine and later transferred to Shanghai Youth Newspaper. He used to be the deputy editor-in-chief and editor-in-chief of the newspaper and the editor-in-chief of the fairy tale newspaper. There are hundreds of children's poems published, such as The Burning Bonfire of Wild Roses on Campus, Three Stories of Hu Dagang's Love for Children, Fairy Tales, Learning Skills of Little Monkeys, Careless Adventures of the King of Animals from Heaven, Fairy Tales of Little Squirrels and Their Partners, Tales of Robbers, Witches and Elves, etc. His works have won Chen Bochui Children's Literature Award, National Excellent Children's Literature Award and Soong Ching Ling Children's Literature Award.
