The first clamping company in Chifeng

The Su family pioneered the Chifeng sandwich shop and opened the first sandwich shop in Chifeng Street, named Fushenglong. When Fushenglong opened, it raised 200 silver dollars and employed 4 people. Later, its total assets grew to more than 1,000 silver dollars and it employed more than 10 people. It became a relatively large store in Chifeng's catering industry at that time. From 1928 to 1937, Fushenglong has maintained a momentum of prosperity and development. During the fall of Northeast China, Fushenglong was forced to close its doors. Fuxinglong resumed business in the fall of 1945.

Before the founding of the People's Republic of China, although there were several sandwich shops in Chifeng City, none could surpass Fushenglong in terms of scale and quality. From the founding of the People's Republic of China to the beginning of the 21st century, there were more than 100 sandwich shops in the Chifeng area. Some of the sandwich shops produced high-quality and well-known clamps, and they all created their own brands and won a large number of regular customers. Many people who visit Chifeng for visiting relatives or doing business do not forget to taste the Chifeng Bijiao. They even take some Chifeng Bijiao back with them before leaving.

The Su family has strict technical requirements and strives for excellence. Key links are personally checked. For example, Su Debiao either goes to the butcher shop to select the raw pork for bacon used by Fushenglong, or buys the pigs and slaughters them himself. Fuxinglong pays special attention to seasoning and heat when sandwiching bacon. At first, they used sawdust and grain chaff to smoke and roast the pig, but it had a smoky smell. Later, they used the sugar heat from boiling brown sugar in a pot to smoke the roasted pork. It not only has an attractive color, but also tastes sweet and delicious. Fushenglong's biscuits are specially made. First, mix the flour, then knead them with a certain proportion of oil and put them into the oven. When the sesame biscuits are freshly baked, they must be made of millet flour or millet dough, dipped in ghee, coated with it, and then baked over a fire. Such biscuits are filled with bacon and taste delicious and crispy. Nowadays, Fuxing Building is sandwiched between two buildings and moved to the second floor of Cyclamen Building.
