CCTV Children’s Channel (channel call sign: CCTV-14 Children) is a TV channel targeting children. It was launched on December 28, 2003. Launched on the same day.
Since August 2011, the channel has been transformed into a semi-comprehensive channel focusing on children's programs. On January 1, 2014, the high-definition version of the channel was broadcast on ChinaStar 6A, starting high-definition and standard-definition simultaneous broadcasting. On August 17, 2015, the channel logo was changed to 16:9 format, and standard definition programs were changed to 16:9 horizontally compressed 4:3 format.
On December 8, 2003, the channel conducted corresponding broadcast system testing. On December 10, the channel began a trial broadcast, broadcasting 16 hours of programming. On December 28, it was officially launched with "CCTV-Children" as the channel logo and "Children's Channel" as the channel call sign. ?
On March 26, 2006, "Literary Treasure House" was launched. On July 1, "Baby Family" was launched.
