We ate some food in the open space in front of the empty house to replenish our strength, and then we were ready to go down the hole. I put on my headlights first, then my helmet, and changed into camouflage clothes and military shoes. There is a path to Wulong Cave, which is full of red fruits, and there is a lot of earthworm feces in the middle of the path. Going forward is the dirt road, which is steep, so we walk slowly sideways. We came to a hole sealed by an iron fence. The door on the iron fence was locked, so we had to squeeze in through the gap next to the fence and stick to the ground. This gap is so small that people can't get in if they are too fat. We grabbed the iron fence with both hands, stepped on the sunken holes on both sides and slid down the hole.
When we walked into the cave, as soon as the light was cut off, it was so dark that we couldn't see our fingers. We all turned on the headlights to illuminate. I guess: will this hole be like the one dug in tunnel warfare? Could it be all cliffs?
There are several difficulties to reach the Bat Cave. The first level is the gravel ground. After entering the cave, I found that it was much cooler here than outside, and the entrance of the cave was not too high. The stones here became very slippery after being washed by rain, and everywhere they went, it was a downward slope. The stone is too slippery and easy to fall, so I have to squat down and hold the very stable stone with both hands. At the small cliff, you should watch whether you are going backwards or directly. In some places where it is easy to get off, just get off, put your ass close to the ground, grab the stone next to you with both hands and step on the gravel. In some places where it is not easy to get off, go backwards, face the stone wall, grab the stones on both sides and go down.
the second level is to drill the "dog hole" channel. The width of this passage is not narrow, but the height is low, so you need to climb over it or even crawl forward. I think, if Yao Ming comes, he can't make it. When climbing, I grabbed two big stones and crawled forward. Because all here are rocks, the water dripping from stalactites forms a small stream, and I can hear the gurgling sound of running water everywhere. This wonderful music always haunts my ears.
The third level is the first ladder. I named it "Staggered Ladder" because its stepping points are always uneven. This ladder is mounted on an almost vertical cliff, which is more than ten meters high. When I was in the next level, Teacher Ye tied a belt around my waist, and then tied the climbing rope to the hoop on my belt. I thought to myself, if the rope breaks and I don't hold on to the ladder, wouldn't it kill me? It seems that I must hold on to the rope on the ladder! After tying me up, Mr. Ye tied a white rope to the wood that fixed the ladder, and then he grabbed the other end in his hand and went down the cliff with his bare hands. Then he tied a stepping point to the middle of the first stepping pole and the second stepping pole of the ladder, so that we could step down the cliff conveniently.
There is still a distance between our standing point and the ladder, which is 1.2 meters. Teacher Zhang tugged at the rope tied to me and told me to "rush" to the ladder. Teacher Zhang slowly loosened the rope and sent me down slowly. From time to time, I looked back to see if I had stepped on the next pedal of the ladder, thinking that the cliff was so high, it was estimated that I would have to go down for half a day. Teacher Ye told me which foot to step on and where to step on under the cliff. I grasped the ropes on both sides of the ladder with both hands, and Mr. Zhang put ropes on it. After ten minutes of hard work, I finally got off the cliff smoothly. What a close call! After coming down, Mr. Ye untied the rope from my belt, and Mr. Zhang threw the rope from it, and then Mr. Zhang also fell off the cliff with his bare hands. Teacher Ye is still a commander. He tells Teacher Zhang where to step on the spot. In a short time, Teacher Zhang went down the cliff smoothly.
Here we are at the fourth level. This is the second ladder. I'll call this bridge "Shuishui Bridge". Because all the sunken places in the middle of this cliff are filled with water, and the height of the water is just enough to drown my whole foot. The cliff where this ladder is located is still very high. The similarity between the jagged bridge and the stagnant water bridge is that the distance between every two treads of the ladder is more than 1 meter. I tied up the climbing rope, and Teacher Ye took the lead to get off the cliff again. Then he told us that there were bats chirping under the cliff, and we listened carefully. It really was bats chirping. I think there were at least 5-6 bats or even 1 bats here. Teacher Zhang grasped the rope that tied me and let me down the cliff. Then teacher Zhang came down quickly. After that, we found that this place is really unique. It is about 12 meters high, 15 meters long and 1 meters wide. It is a very wide hall. Wow! There are many bats flying all over the sky here! I suddenly smelled a stinking smell, and when I took a closer look, it turned out to be a big bat dung about 2 meters high. We stopped to take some photos, had a rest and regained some strength. At that time, I panted and thought: Climbing up and down such a steep cliff is really serious! Teacher Zhang and Teacher Ye consider that we have been in the hole for more than three hours, and I don't have much strength, so I'm ready to return. Teacher Zhang said to me, do you want to keep a small stone as a souvenir? I nodded, and teacher Zhang took a small stone from the hole and put it in the bag.
the journey back is just as difficult, even more difficult. When climbing the stagnant water ladder, Teacher Ye climbed it first, bypassed one end of the climbing rope on the ladder, and threw it down for Teacher Zhang to hold. The other end of the climbing rope was fixed on my waist, so that Teacher Ye and Teacher Zhang pulled the climbing rope up and down the cliff at the same time and pulled me up the cliff. However, because my legs are too short to step on the pedal on the ladder, and my arm strength is not enough, I am suspended in mid-air and can't get down. The climbing rope strangles my waist, which makes my abdomen uncomfortable. I hung in the air and thought, I can't let this rope keep strangling me. I want to climb it early! Teacher Zhang saw my dangerous situation, so he climbed with his bare hands and quickly came to my side. He let my feet step on his thighs, shoulders and head, and sent me up. At the same time, Teacher Ye pulled me up hard on the cliff, and I was in a hurry. Finally, I stepped on the helmet that Teacher Zhang wore on my head and finally climbed up the cliff! The same is true in the jagged ladder. Teacher Zhang and Teacher Ye have worked very hard to help me climb the cliff. If it weren't for their help, I would definitely be trapped here.
after more than an hour's hard return trip, we finally saw the light of day and returned to the cave.
When she came out, Teacher Ye found a small snake and told us. Teacher Zhang went to have a look and photographed it, but I was too short to see it. But I found a little lizard and ran into the grass quickly. We still squeezed through the iron fence at the mouth of the cave and returned to the ground. When I came out, I found that our clothes were all dirty, just like rolling in the mud, so we went back to the car along the path and changed into spare clothes.
get dressed. I found there are quite a lot of butterflies here. There are at least 11 species, namely, Papilio citri, Papilio formosana, Papilio musk, Papilio bipinnata, Papilio microphylla, Papilio felis, Papilio macrophylla, Papilio butterfly, Papilio butterfly, Papilio butterfly, Papilio butterfly, Papilio butterfly, Papilio butterfly and Papilio butterfly, with the largest number being Papilio bipinnata. I took out the small stone from the depths of the cave and looked at it. Teacher Zhang found that the pattern on the small stone looked like a person climbing a mountain, while another person was watching over it. Teacher Zhang said that it was very similar to the situation when we were in the cave, and it was very similar to me climbing on a cliff.
I'm lucky to be able to explore with two teachers this time. I've undergone a double test of physical strength and perseverance. This expedition not only exercised my physical strength, but also made me deeply feel that one must have the courage and perseverance to overcome difficulties, persevere, endure hardships and have confidence in oneself in order to succeed.
