Chapter 1: An unforgettable trip to Yunnan
Recently, our unit organized employees to go to Yunnan for vacation and travel, so that everyone who has been busy for a year can rest physically and mentally through the trip to Yunnan. My horizons were broadened, my knowledge was increased, and my feelings were cultivated. The trip to Yunnan was unforgettable.
After arriving in Kunming from Beijing, a group of more than 40 of us visited the Stone Forest, Dali and Lijiang, visited Shangri-La, the wonderland of the world, photographed the rapids and rapids along the Jinsha River, climbed the Jade Dragon Snow Peak to admire the White Water River, and crossed the Erhai Lake to see butterflies. By the spring, it travels more than 2,000 kilometers in Yunnan. Along the way, you will see blue sky and white clouds, beautiful mountains and green mountains. Although the water is not clear, most of the rivers have not been polluted. The Nu River, Lancang River, Jinsha River and countless mountain springs and streams flowing through here nourish this area. The red soil plateau makes it China's beautiful southern border. It not only has beautiful mountains and rivers, but also has a pleasant climate. It is like spring all year round, with no scorching heat in summer and no severe cold in winter. The plants here are luxuriant and diverse, with more than 10,000 plant species. A rare plant treasure trove in the world. Yunnan, a beautiful and fertile land located on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, one of the four major plateaus in China, is a veritable cornucopia of our motherland.
The stone forest in Yunnan, the most typical karst landform, has fascinated countless people. The various shapes of the large stone forest make people imagine; the graceful and graceful small stone forest makes people nostalgic. Stone Forest, a natural "Stone Art Museum" created by nature, is the first stop on our itinerary, allowing us to appreciate the magic of nature's overwhelming and uncanny craftsmanship.
The three pagodas of Chongsheng Temple in Dali have a long history. They were built during the Kaiyuan period of the Tang Dynasty by Quan Fengyou, the tenth king of Nanzhao Kingdom. It has been about 1,300 years ago and is an important Buddhist holy place in Yunnan. , she is famous at home and abroad. Dali's marble is famous both at home and abroad. The marble pillars of the majestic Great Hall of the People are made from Dali marble. Under Cangshan Mountain and on the edge of Erhai Lake, the ancient city of Dali is simple and quiet. Its history can be traced back to the Tianbao period of the Tang Dynasty. The ancient city was built in the fifteenth year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1382), with a radius of twelve miles. It is one of the first batch of 24 famous historical and cultural cities in China announced by the State Council. It is a good place that Jinhua and A Peng yearn for. It is a place where my country's minority Bai people live together. It is also the capital of Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province today.
The Old Town of Lijiang is one of the best-preserved ancient cities with regional minority characteristics in my country. The Old Town of Lijiang, also known as "Dayan Ancient Town", is a world cultural heritage and a national 5A tourist attraction. The ancient city It was built in the late Song Dynasty and early Ming Dynasty and has a history of more than 800 years. She has been fragrant for a long time and is famous all over the world, attracting countless tourists to visit here. As you walk on the thick stone pavement, crystal-clear mountain spring water trickles through the roadside waterways. You are surrounded by ancient wooden-structure minority-style buildings, and the shops sell clothing and accessories from ethnic minorities. , gifts and souvenirs, you will feel like you are in another world. When you have lived in a bustling metropolis for a long time, seen all the ups and downs and heard all the hustle and bustle, and suddenly come to this comfortable and comfortable ancient city, you will feel a sense of strangeness and longing...
"Golden sands and water beat against the cloud cliffs" Warm, the iron cables across the Dadu Bridge are cold. "The poems of great men remain forever, and the surging rapids of the Tiger Leaping Gorge on the Jinsha River remain forever." The thrills of Tiger Leaping Gorge are frightening.
Shangri-La is located in the Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the northwest of Yunnan Province. It is at the southern end of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and in the hinterland of the Hengduan Mountains. It is the intersection of Yunnan, Sichuan and Tibet. Shangri-La is the wonderland that people pursue in their dreams, a paradise in reality, and a paradise where dreams and reality merge. This is a mysterious place where people and nature, people and animals, and animals and nature live in harmony. The local people regard their hometown as the sun and moon in their hearts and the paradise on earth. Shangri-La's beautiful mountains and rivers, luxuriant plants, blue sky and white clouds are uniquely beautiful. The poetic and picturesque scenery sketched by nature here cannot be expressed in words and words. You can't appreciate the uniqueness of Shangri-La without going there in person. , with wonderland-like mystery and beauty.
When those of us who have lived in low-altitude plains for a long time came to high-altitude plateau areas and climbed to the altitude of 4680 meters above sea level, the main peak of Yulong Snow Mountain, the fan steep peak, is the height that people can currently reach (the main peak of the Yulong Snow Mountain, the fan steep slope) The highest point is 5,596 meters above sea level. Due to geological and other reasons, no one has been able to reach the highest point yet). Our hearts are full of surprises and curiosity. When I stood on the main peak at an altitude of 4,680 meters, looking at the mountains shrouded in clouds and the mountains in the distance, I suddenly remembered the poem of Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty: When we reach the top, we will embrace all the mountains and small mountains. . The majestic Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, with its main peak reaching into the clouds, stands majestically on the land of beautiful Lijiang, making the beautiful Lijiang appear majestic.
During the eight-day trip to Yunnan, we only saw bits and pieces of the beautiful Yunnan. There are still more gorgeous scenery that we need to see and experience again when we have the opportunity in the future. We can't get enough of the scenery of Yunnan, and the cultural traditions of ethnic minorities in Yunnan are even more unforgettable.
Yunnan Province is one of the regions with the largest number of ethnic minorities in my country. There are 25 ethnic minorities and 45 million people living in more than 390,000 square kilometers of land. They have worked and lived on this land for generations. Go up, live in harmony, and inherit integration and kindness for thousands of years...
Before coming to Yunnan, I heard that there are many ethnic minorities in Yunnan, and they live in peace and harmony. It was only after I came that I realized this The peace is like a big family, cordial, simple and natural.
In Kunming, the provincial capital city with the largest concentration of ethnic minorities in Yunnan, there are Han, Dai, Miao, Bai, Naxi, Hani, Tujia, Yi, Tibetan, Hui and Yao ethnic groups. Whether we see ethnic minorities wearing various ethnic costumes in the hotels where we live, on the streets, in shops, or in restaurants, we feel that from the contact with them and the words and eyes between them, In addition to their differences in clothing, they are more tolerant and connected.
This feeling becomes more and more profound in Stone Forest, Dali, Lijiang and Shangri-La. I bought a piece of Bai clothing in a store in the ancient city of Dali. After paying the money, I asked the shopkeeper which ethnic group she was from. She told her that she was from the Naxi ethnic group and that this was a clothing store she opened. I asked her again why you don’t What about selling your own ethnic clothing? She said that clothing from Bai and Naxi ethnic groups are sold, and other ethnic minority shops here, like her store, do not regard ethnicity as a barrier to communication, but feel that everyone is the same and very harmonious.
The same is true when I buy small gifts in the shops in Lijiang Old Town. Many shops here also sell accessories and gifts from Bai, Naxi, Tibetan and other ethnic minorities. The shopkeepers include Bai, Naxi, Tibetan and other ethnic minorities, as well as Han people. The people living here are more accommodating and integrated. At a small stall next to the Tiger Leaping Gorge on the Jinsha River in Lijiang, there is a 5 or 6-year-old Tibetan girl selling colorful Tibetan-style, Naxi-style small gifts for the adults in the family. Next to her, The stalls were made up of adults from other ethnic minorities, and they also sold the same things. The tourists went back and forth between their stalls, and did not hear any of them say that the things sold by others were fake or bad. The little girl's business and Other stalls are equally prosperous, which further proves that the people of all ethnic groups living here are peaceful and harmonious.
Along the way, I have been thinking about why there are so many ethnic minorities in Yunnan. They can get along with each other, live in peace and harmony, and why?
When I visited the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple in Dali, I stepped out from the gate, with Cangshan Mountain on my back and Erhai Lake in front of me. I had an epiphany in my heart: Great harmony is the yearning of mankind, peace is the desire of the people, and inner balance is the goal of people. The pursuit of...
In addition, the horses, cows, sheep and pigs, dogs, chickens and ducks on the meadows seen along the way grazed and foraged together, and interacted with each other. No interference, everyone has their own needs, and a peaceful place; also, in Yunnan, I saw that except for Tibetan mastiffs, almost all dogs range freely, and no one leads them with dog chains. The locals told me that these are domestic dogs, very obedient and never hurt anyone. From this, I thought that in Beijing, domestic dogs are always led by others on a chain. They always bark twice when meeting people, to show "self-respect and self-improvement" or that dogs rely on people's power. Indeed, the dogs I saw in Yunnan were all docile, and they became polite to others under human education.
What I see in Yunnan always seems to be so harmonious, where people are harmonious, animals are harmonious, nature is harmonious, and creatures are harmonious with nature. People of all ethnic groups in Yunnan live in harmony, and they use their kindness to create a harmonious and beautiful society. Yunnan is a wonderful place with thousands of beautiful scenery and picturesque scenery. We only saw a small part of the beautiful Yunnan this time. I will definitely go to see more of Yunnan’s strange mountains, rivers, flowers and plants in the future. Feel the rich traditional culture, folk customs and customs, and understand the connotation and true meaning of Colorful Yunnan.
I learned many ethnic minority languages ??in Yunnan, but the one that impressed me most was the Tibetan language: Tashi Delek (meaning good luck and good fortune)! Here I wish all brothers and sisters of all ethnic groups in the country a happy Tashi Delek! Congratulations to all Chinese people around the world! I wish all the people of the world a happy Tashi Delek!
Chapter 2: Looking for Roots in Yunnan
My name is Yunling, my sister’s name is Poria, and we share the same traditional Chinese medicine.
According to my mother, she had a very severe pregnancy reaction when she was pregnant with me. She vomited so much that she could hardly eat. At that time, an old doctor prescribed her a dose of traditional Chinese medicine to treat pregnancy reactions. One of the herbs was called Yunling, that dose of medicine worked very well. My mother's body recovered quickly and she was able to eat normally. When I was born, my father was away on a business trip. When my aunt asked what the name was, my mother remembered the traditional Chinese medicine Yunling. It felt like a girl’s name, so she said casually: “Then let’s call it Yunling.” p>
When I was pregnant with my sister, my mother also had pregnancy reactions, but they were not as severe as before. The old Chinese doctor prescribed an antiemetic medicine and replaced the medicine with Poria cocos. The mother herself He is also a doctor and knows that the two medicinal properties are the same, except that Poria cocos is more common, while Yunling is Poria cocos produced in Yunnan. My mother said that she later named her sister Poria for convenience.
Perhaps it has something to do with the name. I am taller, while my sister is smaller. In addition, I seem to be more successful than my sister in every aspect. Sometimes the three of us joke together, and my sister always says that her mother is partial, saying that she has checked the information and found that Poria and Yunling are actually the same medicine. Poria is a fungus that lives on the roots of pine trees. It has the effects of calming the mind, calming the mind, and being a diuretic. . Yunling is a Poria cocos produced in Yunnan. It is called Yunling, or Yunling for short. Traditional Chinese medicine considers Yunling to be the top grade of Poria. "No wonder all the good things go to my sister." My sister often blames her mother like this. My mother just follows her sister and says that Poria is right. In fact, the best Poria is a kind of wild Poria that grows in Yunnan, which is called Yunnan. Poria cocos has the best medicinal properties.
"Ha, sister, look, mom has admitted it herself. It seems that mom is biased..." Looking at my sister's naughty look, the three of us often look at each other and smile, just thinking it's just the same. Kind of teasing. My mother would often say, when you grow up, she will take you to Yunnan to find your roots, and the three of us will go together.
At that time, for those of us who grew up in the Guanzhong Plain, Yunnan was a place as far away as the horizon. But every time we talk about this topic, my mother always says something similar.
After telling such jokes too many times, we kept a distant and mysterious Yunnan in each other's hearts.
In a blink of an eye, my mother’s 77th birthday was approaching. On that day, my sister and I both missed our mother, so we invited her to have a gathering at a coffee shop in the small town. Speaking of which, my mother’s 77th birthday will be in a few days. We wanted to give her a surprise, so the two sisters simultaneously thought of our dream of Yunnan that we had not been able to travel to for many years. So I invited my mother to go to Lijiang, Yunnan Province for a few days, and we sisters paid for all the expenses. My 77-year-old mother heard that we wanted to give her such a special birthday gift, and she readily agreed. So we took a plane and then a train to Yunnan.
Along the way, our three mothers were as happy as birds that have been locked in a cage for a long time, chattering non-stop. Especially my mother, she was as happy as a child, talking about that. Looking at the golden rapeseed flowers blooming on the roadside and the mountains passing by in the distance, our sisters and our mother started to write limericks together. Looking at the rapeseed flowers in the field, I said casually: "The rapeseed flowers are yellow all over the field," and my mother continued: "Farmers are busy farming." My sister said: "The green fields are surrounded by the green mountains." Mom came and continued: "It's a foreign country in a blink of an eye"! Such a limerick was put together. We all agreed that my mother’s “In a blink of an eye we were in a foreign country!” raised the level of this limerick. The mother who was recognized was as happy as a child, and her smiling face under her white hair warmed my heart.
Because we were traveling with my mother, we took a self-guided tour. Along the way, my sister and I purchased flight tickets and booked inns online. We contacted the people at Lijiang Yunyingge Inn on the train. As soon as we arrived in Lijiang, the driver from Yunyingge picked us up at the station. Yunying Pavilion is an elegant and characteristic courtyard. The rooms are clean and tidy. The flowers, grass and root carvings in the courtyard are unique. The owner is a Naxi girl wearing glasses. She calls us sister, mom and grandma, which makes us feel kind. Feeling like coming home.
We visited Lijiang Ancient Town and the Ancient Tea Horse Road according to my mother’s physical condition and interest. We also spent a few days in Kunming in Dali's Cangshan Mountain, Erhai Lake, Butterfly Spring, Three Pagodas and other scenic spots.
The mountain road from Lijiang to Dali was steeper and more winding than we imagined. Although it was a sleeper bus, it was quite bumpy. My sister felt motion sick and I felt uncomfortable. But my mother behaved surprisingly well. She looked at the scenery outside the window with interest, commented from time to time, and changed the direction of her body as the car turned. She looked very comfortable, which made me very happy.
Looking at the misty green mountain forest, my mother said jokingly: "I have found your hometown! The wild Poria cocos should grow under the pine trees in this mountain..." I also said with emotion, maybe Many years ago, the three of us lived in this mountain forest. My mother was the old pine tree, and my sister and I were the wild Chinese medicines called Yunling and Poria that grew under the tree. We leaned against the big tree to absorb it. In the mountain breeze and jade dew, mother is our patron saint. In order to repay our mother's kindness, we were reincarnated as our mother's daughters in this life...
As soon as I made fun of them, my mother and sister burst into tears. I was also speechless for a moment, looking at the unknown mountain road and feeling the scenery rushing by on the roadside. I was grateful that the three of us could have such a trip to Yunnan in our lifetime. Perhaps, the three of us have some kind of inseparable bond with this magical place.
Chapter 3: Silhouette of a trip to Yunnan
Colorful Yunnan has always been a place that everyone is fascinated by. With the longing for this sacred and mysterious land, my husband and I were a group of six people , in this midsummer July, on that bright morning, we happily boarded flight SG4769 and began a six-day joyful journey.
Kunming Station
The plane carried everyone full of joy and bright sunshine, and sent us to the first stop in Yunnan - Kunming Airport. As soon as we got off the airport, everyone was fascinated by the cool climate here. You know, our hometown is experiencing sweltering heat at this time, but here it is only 25℃. It is indeed a veritable spring city.
In Kunming, what impressed us most was not the world-renowned "Kunming World Expo Park", but the national key scenic spot - Stone Forest, known as "the best wonder in the world". The stone forest is a karst landform, which is very rare in the world. As soon as the tour bus enters the scenic spot, what you see is a series of rugged stone mountains. There are many peaks and strange rocks in various shapes. They are connected into a sea of ??stones, which is majestic and very spectacular.
The ground guide Ashima first took us to the "Big Stone Forest", where the peaks and forests are stacked, staggered and in different shapes, which is really breathtaking. Next, we walked through the "Small Stone Forest" and saw strange peaks and rocks, winding, twisting, and intertwined. Being in such a magical stone forest, we can't help but admire the uncanny craftsmanship of nature.
Dali Station
Before we could take a few more looks at the beautiful Spring City, Kunming Station ended in a hurry. The tour bus took 5 or 6 hours to bring us to Dali, which everyone has admired for a long time. The name Dali often appears in movies and TV shows. Although I dare not say that it is a household name and is known to everyone, women and children, it is still famous. Dali is a Bai Autonomous Prefecture, so when the car drives into the urban area of ??Dali, the Bai folk houses with architectural artistic features will come to you. What is displayed in front of you are all white walls and green tiles, carved beams and painted buildings, scattered in an orderly manner. They rely on Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake, quietly guarding the Bai people here.
When you come to Dali, you must go to the Three Pagodas of Dali anyway. It is surrounded by mountains and rivers, with green peaks and a quiet environment. It reproduces the splendor and majesty of the ancient "royal gardens". Therefore, it is a symbol of Dali City's "Famous Document State" and is also a national-level key cultural relics protection unit.
After visiting the Pilgrimage Temple, we followed the Jinhua guide to the ancient city of Dali. Standing in front of the South City Gate, the word "Dali" stood out clearly on the majestic ancient city wall. Jinhua told us that the Daughter's Kingdom in "Journey to the West" was filmed here, which added to our admiration for Dali. Under Jinhua's guidance, we also found that the city's streets were very straight, running north-south and east-west, with a typical chessboard layout.
The buildings in the ancient city are all blue tile roofs, which look very simple. Although it was raining continuously at this time, the streets were still crowded with tourists and bustling with people. On the "Foreigner Street" that impressed us most, we saw one after another Chinese and Western restaurants, coffee houses, teahouses, and handicraft shops. The signs and advertisements were mostly written in foreign languages. Of course, we often saw people with different skin colors. Many foreigners are sitting leisurely in the shop, doing business or having fun.
At the Bai people’s place in Dali, in addition to visiting the Cun’s silver jewelry, we also watched the Bai song and dance performances, tasted the unique three-course tea, and learned more about the Bai folk customs.
Lijiang Station
After walking through the neatly arranged bluestone slabs in Dali, we set off towards the next stop - Lijiang. Although people haven't arrived in Lijiang yet, many men's hearts have already flown to Lijiang.
When we come to Lijiang, the first thing we want to go to is the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which is more than 5,000 meters above sea level. In order to avoid long queues, the local tour guide Pang Jinge (Mosuo native) woke us up at 5am, and a large group arrived at the foot of the snow-capped mountains at 6:30am. (You know, in Yunnan, the night there is dark an hour or two later than here.) Everyone knows that the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain we are going to is at an altitude of 4506 meters. The air on the mountain is thin and there is little oxygen, so altitude sickness is prone to occur.
Even though I am not in very good physical condition, I honestly rented a large cotton-padded jacket, bought an oxygen bottle, and was ready to go. The cable car of the big ropeway is very diligent in sending batches of tourists up to the snow-capped mountains. Sitting in the cable car, looking out through the glass, I saw that as the cable car gradually ascended, the trees on the mountain slowly became sparse from the original lushness. In the end, there was no one at all, and all I could see was the rolling sea of ??clouds. On the mountainside, the vast expanse of white is spectacular.
After getting off the cable car and walking on the stairs made of wooden planks, we immediately felt the severe cold here. The high-hanging thermometer told us in conspicuous red letters that the temperature here was only 5.6℃. Even so, our hearts were still boiling. I took off my down jacket with great interest and hurriedly left my figure next to the boulder with 4506 written on it (representing the altitude here is 4506 meters). I think this is probably the first time in my life that I have climbed such a high mountain. This joy of conquering nature is really indescribable.
It is worth mentioning that in the Blue Moon Valley under the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, the blue water reflects the green mountains. Being in the embrace of such green mountains and green waters, your soul will be cleansed. Net.
There is not much time left, so everyone can’t wait to rush to the ancient town of Lijiang. We kept in mind the method of "go in with the current and come out against the current" and cautiously entered the ancient city. The ancient city is indeed antique, with houses of civil structure, square stones that have been worn smooth and a little uneven by the years, small bridges and flowing water everywhere, and it is like a picture of "small bridges and flowing water, people's houses".
The ancient city is crowded with people and bustling with people. In the streets and alleys, there are many shops, whether they are book bars, coffee bars, jade or fabrics, they are all dazzling. In the various shops, there is a constant flow of tourists. There is also the Naxi drum music that floats to the ears from time to time, which is melodious and has a unique charm. When you are in the ancient city, you feel like you have walked into "Along the River During the Qingming Festival", and you will have a different feeling.
If Lijiang’s daytime is noisy, then Lijiang’s night is even more “crazy” to the extreme. What makes this night crazy is the bar. This is also the reason why men like to come here the most. During this trip to Lijiang, I was warmly entertained by a former student of mine. He invited us to the famous "Sakura House Bar" in the ancient town of Lijiang.
In the bar, with the confusing lights, the youthful music, the passionate performances on the stage, the frenetic atmosphere, and the passionate percussion, you will feel that every cell in your body is beating with the notes. And beating, at this time you will release yourself to your heart's content, and this feeling is something I have never experienced before.
We said goodbye to Lijiang reluctantly. Our trip is coming to an end. The trip to Yunnan is unforgettable. The colorful Yunnan allows us to appreciate the magnificent mountains and rivers of the motherland, and also allows us to enjoy the folk customs of the ethnic minorities there, which broadens our horizons. It is really dreamlike and picturesque!
Unfortunately, I also want to go to Lugu Lake, known as the Land of Women, the antique Shangri-La, and Xishuangbanna, known as the "world of animals and plants"... but the itinerary is limited, I hope , I can meet in Yunnan again!
