At first glance, the two stores in the building at the junction of Beverly Hills and Century City have very different styles. Shiny plastic panels are used on the exterior wall of Mei Sen Martin Magira store facing the street. After entering, you will find that you have come to the Paris Art Gallery, which is full of wrongly painted walls. The exterior wall of Mameg store at the back of the building is made of ordinary red bricks, and the interior is the new york attic full of original charm. The owner Sonia Eram will put Hussein karajan, Jil Sander's Raf Simons and Cosmic Wonder (Co. However, if you stay for a while, you will gradually find the connection between the two shops-they are two projects designed by Johnston Marklee Architect Firm at the same time.

There is such a story behind Hollywood fashion. Herman brought Magira fashion to his two Mamange boutiques in Los Angeles. In fact, when Magira, a French brand, chose a store location, the person in charge didn't know the market situation in Los Angeles, so Herman agreed to find a suitable place. At the same time, the building where her own shop was located happened to be sold. So why not find a place that suits both stores at the same time? What she finally found was this 4,7-square-foot building with an arched truss ceiling and three skylights. It used to be an auto repair shop at first, then became a golf boutique, then used as a church, and then it was idle for five months. Sharon Johnston, who co-heads Johnston Marklee with her husband, thinks that the building at that time was "in good condition". In fact, the good relationship between Erman and architects was established many years ago when Li chose a black Josephus Thimister coat for his wife in the first Mamange boutique. Herman praised Li's choice, and then hired Johnston MacLee Architects to design the second Mamange store for her.
The latest Mamange store in Erman, located at the back of the building, has a low-key feature which is in sharp contrast with the shiny and high-key store in Magira Mianjie, but it is exactly in line with Erman's vision. The locations of her previous shops were deliberately designed to be extremely remote. As Johnston recalled, "It took us a month to find her first store in the mini shopping mall in Brenood." In Beverly Hills, Mamange Boutique has two entrances. Customers can walk directly into the room from the outdoor through the small garden densely covered with Ziwei flowers, or they can enter through the other entrance through the connecting corridor painted with pearl gold paint after visiting the Magira store.

When designing a store in Magira, Johnston MacLee Architects must abide by the international standards of the brand. "They regard every space as a treasure, and then fold them to reflect the characteristics that are in line with European aesthetics." Li said. So there is the design concept of the wrong picture wall and vinyl imitation wood floor. This makes the whole indoor atmosphere reflect the unique identity characteristics of this fashion brand. The two internal spaces carved by architects also maintain a playful and elegant design style.
The front space is the jewelry counter. Those fashionable flip-flops may be cool, but compared with the display rack where they are placed, they are much more ordinary-it is a wedding cake made of plastic long champagne cups placed on the polished acrylic table. "This repetition is almost ridiculous," Li said. It is much simpler to put the display rack of handbags, just embedding industrial nails in the silver-plated brick wall to create the effect. The main space is the place where men's and women's clothes are sold. The mirrors used here are playing games with people from time to time. The mirror display table makes second-hand sofas decorated with white coats and silver-plated models with supernatural appearance and transparent vinyl resin look even more bizarre. There is a mirror in the center of the room, and there are two dressing rooms inside, which almost seem to have disappeared. There is a mirror wallboard in each dressing room, and the oversized lighting on the frame will remind you of the comb table of old Hollywood stars. The side walls are covered with black and white photos of fashion models.

"The characteristic of Magira is to decorate everything, just like a theater," Li said, "while Mamange is to put everything. Brick walls are sandblasted, concrete is polished, and the scale becomes larger. Through the back wall is a 12-foot-high and 44-foot-long stepped storage room. Although it is only a white paint MDF box, the details are actually extremely meticulous, and the size and position of each compartment angle are carefully scrutinized. Another big move of the whole design is to move the mezzanine floor to the other end of the house, behind the storage room. The three huge skylights above successfully attracted the attention of the guests to the goods placed on Frank Gehry's desk below.
the staff room occupies part of the mezzanine space. Herman's "office" is nothing more than an 18th-century English table in the center of the main sales floor, surrounded by old fashion models. In this way, she will never be far away from her guests. "This is my living room." She said. Opposite the desk are a pair of black leather Antonio Citterio sofas, which seem to have been transported directly from Studio 54.
