Where is Shanghai Baoshan International Folk Art Exhibition Hall?

Shanghai Baoshan International Folk Art Expo is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Shanghai Baoshan International Folk Art Expo was completed and opened on October 16, 21. The Expo is located in the southeast corner of Gucun Park at the junction of Hutai Road and Outer Ring Road. The design concept is taken from the folk cultural image of "Chinese knot", with a construction area of 14,6 square meters.

Shanghai Baoshan International Folk Art Expo Hall is a public welfare cultural facility integrating collection, exhibition, exchange and research, social service and other functions, which is dedicated to the exhibition and exchange of folk art at home and abroad, and the protection, inheritance and promotion of intangible cultural heritage. It will also carry out multicultural activities in conjunction with Baoshan International Folk Art Festival and become a window for Baoshan's foreign exchange. It was named as Shanghai Intangible Heritage Protection and Heritage Base and Shanghai Popular Science Education Base.

The building structure of the Expo Hall consists of two floors. The exhibition hall on the first floor covers an area of about 3, square meters, and is arranged by Shanghai University. There are 8 exhibition halls, including Preface Hall, Maritime Baoshan Hall, China Hall, Asia-Pacific Hall, Middle East Hall, Africa Hall, Europe-America Hall and Latin America Hall, which are combined with objects by multimedia means such as sound, light and electricity, so that visitors can learn about the intangible cultural heritage, folk art and folk culture of five continents and nationalities in the world through interactive participation.

There are two exhibition halls with a height of 1 meters and a height of 4 square meters in the atrium on the first floor of the Expo Hall, which can be used for holding large-scale exhibitions and various activities. The 35-seat lecture hall is equipped with simultaneous interpretation system, which can hold forums and international conferences.

The exhibition hall on the second floor of the Expo Hall covers an area of 1,2 square meters. * * * There are 6 exhibition halls, which can be used to hold temporary exhibitions with different styles. Temporary exhibitions currently on display include: Nepalese cultural customs exhibition, international mask exhibition, Nantong Shaokou Banyan kite exhibition, porcelain personal collection exhibition, tea set personal collection exhibition, etc.

In addition, the Expo Hall also has a 3,-square-meter manual workshop. As a cooperation project between Baoshan District and Shanghai University, the Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai University has set up several studios for jewelry, ceramic painting, cloth art and so on.

The Expo Pavilion provides free explanation services for group visitors, and is equipped with a digital language guide system, which can introduce the various exhibitions of the Expo Pavilion in Chinese and English respectively.
