I remember it was a winter vacation in college. When I came home from watching a movie in the evening, it was raining lightly. A long-haired stray dog ??followed me silently all the way, about three meters away. I feed it some fried chicken, but it doesn’t eat it. If I walk, it will go, and if I stop, it will stop. In this way, we went all the way to the downstairs of my house. It was estimated that the distance was 1,000 meters. Next I have to go upstairs. I live in a staircase room on the 7th floor and there is no elevator. I don’t plan to keep it, because the long-haired one is too dirty on rainy days, and its whole belly is dirty, and it seems to be a mess (I have to say that when it comes to adoption, it mainly depends on appearance). Secondly, I am reading My mother wouldn’t raise it in college.
However, I told myself that if it followed me upstairs, I would take it in and at least help it get through tonight.
It actually followed me upstairs. On the seventh floor, naturally keep a distance of three meters from me, don't get close, don't go too far.
When I opened the door to our house, it lowered its head and peered at me, with humble and cautious eyes, as if waiting for my permission. Neither went in nor went downstairs. So I said "come in" to it, and it seemed to understand, and entered my home calmly. I guessed that it was a lost or abandoned dog that had an owner. Be polite throughout the process and try not to be annoying. All wandering animals know how to read their words and their expressions, and they lower their eyebrows to please their eyes. After all these years, I still can’t forget that look.
Because it was too dirty, my mother asked it to go into the bathroom. It went in obediently, and my mother immediately gave it a bath. It was very calm when taking a bath, standing still and not resisting at all. When taking a bath, I found that its nipples were very red and big, and its belly was very big, and I realized that it was a dog who was about to become a mother. It didn't shy away from being touched on its belly, and it was obvious that it trusted us very much. After washing it and drying it, I gave it the fried chicken. It ate it with gusto, but it was still very well-behaved in my house. It didn’t poop or sleep around. My mother brought some old clothes to give it a cushion. Once in the den, it fell asleep peacefully.
After raising it for a few days, I didn’t know how to find an adopter or help it find an owner. The Internet information was not as developed as it is now. Finally, the dog was taken to the countryside by my mother's classmate. Her house had a yard and grass, and the dog lived very happily.
Thanks to each other's trust, it finally has a home.
Supplement: Now that the dog is still there, I have the opportunity to take photos and share them. When a pregnant dog eats chicken bones: There is no such thing as turning into a puppy. Pregnant animals, especially small ones, are not recommended to eat food that is difficult to digest as it may cause miscarriage. Chicken, duck and poultry bones are difficult to digest, however. Nowadays, the bones of chickens and ducks that are sold in less than two months in breeding farms are very porous, and this problem no longer exists.
