Liubiju's soy sauce can be divided into three types: 1 Golden Lion Stewed Soy Sauce, 2 Golden Lion Solid Soy Sauce Paste, which is convenient for carrying and cooking, and 3 Golden Lion Soy Sauce, which is cold and cooked for seasoning. Liubiju Jiangyuan Store is located in Beijing, and it is said that it was founded in the middle of Ming Dynasty. The gold-lettered plaque hanging in the store of Liubiju is said to have been inscribed by Yan Song, a great scholar of Ming Dynasty. Liubiju was originally a small shop run by brothers Zhao Cunren, Zhao Cunyi and Zhao Cunli from Xidu Village, Linfen, Shanxi Province, specializing in daily necessities. As the saying goes: "Open the door to seven things: firewood, rice, oil, salt, sauce, vinegar and tea."
These seven things are essential to people's daily life. The small shop of the Zhao brothers was named Liubiju because it didn't sell tea.
