It’s been two weeks since the second baby was born. In addition to feeding and sleeping, the little guy can open his eyes multiple times every day. The little eyes look here and there, eager to learn about the world.
In the afternoon, it was time for the hospital to process the birth certificate. I took all the procedures and came to the hospital to name my second baby.
Speaking of names, when my wife was pregnant with the second child, I was planning it. The first treasure's name is Zhao Chengyu, and the second treasure must be linked to this name no matter what.
At first, I always wanted to name the second treasure Zhao Yucheng. The Chinese pinyin is used here because we don’t know yet whether it is a boy or a girl. If it's a boy, it's called Zhao Yucheng, or Zhao Yucheng; if it's a girl, it's called Zhao Yucheng, or Zhao Yucheng. This name happened to be obtained by exchanging Dabao's name.
Later, we did a four-dimensional test to confirm that the child in the belly was a boy. I was wondering if I could give him a name different from Dabao's name. I heard that girls should be named after reading the Book of Songs, and boys should read the Songs of Chu, so I found some combinations in the Songs of Chu that were reasonably catchy. Such as Xiuyuan, Yixiong, Lekang and Jiazhi.
It sounds like a good name, but my daughter-in-law doesn’t like it. She still hopes to be related to Dabao’s name and have some pedigree. Therefore, we first decided to give the second treasure a three-character name, and the middle name must be "Cheng".
There is a reason why I chose to fix the word "cheng" instead of "yu".
After Dabao was born, my father named Dabao Zhao Qianyu. I put my name on the Internet to test the score, and the score is still very high. But after two years, my daughter-in-law felt that "Qian" and "Yu" in the name both represented heaven, which was a little too big. She was afraid that Dabao would have a bad life, so she wanted to change the name.
It happened that one of my daughter-in-law’s classmates knew the metaphysics of Feng Shui naming, so we asked him for advice. He pointed and said: "Qianyu was taken by your father. I'm afraid it won't be good to replace them all. I will give you a Chengzi to replace the original Qianzi."
I personally don't like it very much. For these metaphysics, the names should be casual, as long as they sound pleasant and have some meaning. The word "Cheng" has no meaning, so it is temporarily stored as a candidate.
Later, we looked for many names, but none of them were ideal, so I thought of the word "Cheng" again. I wrote the word on the paper and stared at it. As I looked at it, the words seemed a little strange and unfamiliar to me. But it was this strangeness that made me realize that the word "Cheng" can be divided into two parts. One is the word "和" and the other is the word "王". My surname is Zhao, and my wife’s surname is Wang. “Cheng” is placed as the second character, which means that the child was born to the two of us. Wonderful! Wonderful! This is the word of choice. So Dabao's name was changed to "Zhao Chengyu".
Based on this, Erbao only needs to add one word after "Zhao Cheng". I prioritized a few names through the power of the internet and personal preference. Such as Zhao Chengcheng, Zhao Chengcheng, Zhao Chenggong, Zhao Chengjin, Zhao Chengming, Zhao Chengzhi, Zhao Chengxu, Zhao Chenghao, etc. The daughter-in-law's classmate who named Dabao before gave us the word "Yi" this time. Here, I prefer Zhao Chengjin and Zhao Chengxu. Zhao Chengyi is also okay, but not as good as the first two.
When the fetus was thirty-six or seven weeks old, the wife spoke again. She hoped to learn the five elements of the child through the birth date of the second baby. Whatever the five elements lack, choose to use words to make up for it. This time I had no choice but to remain silent. All my previous efforts were in vain. It was too late to choose a name after my second baby was born and his birth date was confirmed.
On May 5, 2021, the second baby was born. Based on the five elements, it was judged that the child was lacking wood in the five elements. Then the word "Jin", which belongs to gold in the five elements, is filtered out. As for "Xu" and "Yi", we have to choose one of the two. The character "Xu" in "Xuri" is called "Xu" by many people, but it is actually a bit vulgar; the character "Yi" has a lot of strokes, but "Cheng Yi" is slightly less vulgar. While hesitating, I stared at the two words for a long time. I eventually discovered some similarities between Xu and Yu. "Xu" represents the rising sun. The sunlight shines down from the sky, which matches the sky represented by the word "Yu". In addition, both characters have a u sound and the strokes are all six strokes. Therefore, it is most appropriate to use the character "Xu". So the name of the second treasure was decided.
Once I submitted the information to the hospital staff, the birth certificate printed out. The name column will not change anymore - Zhao Chengxu.
