Tea set market research report 3

Various types of tea sets

Water is the mother of tea, and utensils are the father of tea. If you want to drink good tea, the role of the utensil is particularly important. Tea sets are an important part of the tea industry and are developing rapidly with the development of the tea industry. Recently, reporters conducted a survey on the tea set market.

During the visit, the reporter found that the tea set market is diverse and dazzling.

In any tea set specialty store, consumers will have the feeling that "the flowers are becoming more and more charming". The reporter chatted with a consumer who came to buy tea sets at the Haoyang Tea Set Store in Maliandao Tea City. This consumer said that this was her first time walking into a tea set store, and she was curious about everything and wanted to buy everything back. As a result, when she left, she bought a lot of various tea sets to take home. She said that she really didn't expect that every tea set was a work of art.

Tea has been reserved for dignitaries and literati since ancient times. Although it later entered the homes of ordinary people, drinking tea has always been considered a very elegant thing, and people are more particular about the matching tea sets. This can be seen from the tea sets unearthed in the past dynasties, such as the gilt tea sets of the Tang Dynasty, the blue and white porcelain tea sets of the Song Dynasty, and the purple sand tea sets of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

The tea set market contains extremely rich content. Tea sets in a broad sense can be divided into the following categories:

1. Tea tables, tea chairs, tea carts, etc. Such products are mostly used in tea houses, and tea tables and tea chairs are also indispensable in most tea houses. There are not many places where such products are sold. For example, there are only two or three professional stores selling them on Maliandao Tea Street, and most buyers go to furniture factories to order them. Tea tables, tea chairs, and tea carts require exquisite shapes, fine workmanship, and cultural connotations, so those made in furniture factories often cannot meet the requirements of teahouses and teahouses. Beijing Shengtang Guyi Design Office is a professional company specializing in the design and construction of teahouses. They discovered this problem during the distribution of teahouses and set up a furniture factory. The market is promising.

2. A portable teapot used to boil water, also known as an electronic teapot. The amount of instant tea is very large, and every tea table in the tea house must be equipped with it. No tea shop can be without it. In addition, with the development of family teahouses, instant tea will also enter ordinary people's families, and its market prospects It will be even wider. The manufacturers of Suishuibao are mainly small household appliance manufacturers, mostly concentrated in Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province. At present, a number of famous brands have emerged in Suishoupao, such as "Jinzao", "Weiteng", etc.

3. Sea of ??Tea, Six Treasures of Tea, etc. Sea of ??Tea and Six Treasures of Tea are the main contents of the tea set market, important props for tea art performances, and an indispensable part of Chinese tea culture. Most of the tea sea and tea six treasures are made of wood, such as ebony, red sandalwood, and rosewood. There are also some bamboo products, but due to the dry climate in the north they are easy to crack, so they are more suitable for consumption in the south. The main production enterprises of Chahai and Tea Liubao are concentrated in Huangyan, Zhejiang, Yixing, Jiangsu, Fuding, Fujian and other places. The tea sea brands that are more popular among consumers include Henghai, Hantang, Zhengyuan, etc. In recent years, a kind of tea made of stone has emerged on the market. It is produced in Guangdong and is more expensive, but it is favored by high-end people.

4. Tea utensils. Tea sets in the narrow sense actually refer to tea utensils, including purple clay pots, fair cups, tea cups, etc. There are many varieties of tea in China, and different tea types are suitable for different utensils. For example, glass cups are suitable for brewing green tea, and purple clay pots are suitable for brewing oolong tea. Zisha teapots are currently the most widely used tea sets in the tea set market. Zisha teapots are produced in Yixing City, Jiangsu Province. Zisha is mainly made by hand, but also produced by machines. During the market survey, the reporter found that most tea set dealers mainly sell famous teapots, and ordinary purple clay teapots are rarely sold in the market. Porcelain tea sets are also an important category in the tea set market. Porcelain tea sets often appear in sets and are suitable for making scented tea. Chinese porcelain is very famous in the world, especially the quality of porcelain from Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province. However, among the tea sets currently sold in the tea set market, fewer are produced in Jingdezhen and more are produced in Dehua, Fujian and Chaozhou, Guangdong. It is reported that Dehua in Fujian and Chaozhou in Guangdong have both been named China's Porcelain Capitals by the China Ceramics Association. They are rising stars and the tea sets they produce are more competitive in price than Jingdezhen. In addition, bone china tea sets sold in Tangshan, Hebei Province have also appeared on the market in recent years, but due to their high prices, there are very few people interested in the tea sets market. With the popularity of Pu'er tea in recent years, glass tea sets have begun to appear on the market and are selling like hotcakes. Their boilability and ornamental properties are very suitable for brewing Pu'er tea.

5. Tea drains, washers and other auxiliary tea sets.

Tea drains are mostly made of stainless steel, but in recent years, as people return to a natural mentality, gourd and bamboo tea drains are generally popular. In the past, porcelain was mostly used for water washing. However, as people's awareness of hygiene has increased in recent years, some electronic companies in Chaozhou, Guangdong have come up with ingenuity and designed the soaking and washing into one piece. Two induction cookers are connected together, with one side for soaking and the other for washing. It is a glass pot-type water wash, which is very convenient for sterilizing tea cups.

The above are just the main products in the tea set market. In addition, various exquisite and lovely purple sand ornaments, exquisite porcelain ornaments, etc. are also important parts of the tea set market. As the tea market changes, the tea set market will become more colorful.

Tea sets of the Tang Dynasty

Since tea in the Tang Dynasty has become a daily drink for Chinese people, and people pay more attention to the taste of tea drinking, tea sets are not only indispensable utensils in the process of drinking tea, but also have It helps to improve the color, aroma and taste of tea, and is practical. Moreover, an elegant and exquisite tea set itself is rich in appreciation value and has high artistic quality. Therefore, my country's tea sets have developed rapidly since the Tang Dynasty.

In the mid-Tang Dynasty, not only did tea sets have a complete range of categories, but they also paid attention to the quality of the tea sets and paid attention to the selection of tea sets according to the tea. This is described in detail in Lu Yu of the Tang Dynasty's "The Book of Tea: Four Utensils". In the late 1980s, a complete set of Tang Dynasty palace tea sets unearthed from the underground palace of Famen Temple in Fufeng, Shaanxi Province, complemented the folk tea sets described by Lu Yu and gave Chinese people a more complete understanding of Tang Dynasty tea. However, the way of drinking tea in the Tang Dynasty was very different from that of today's people, so there were many tea sets that have never been seen by people today.

Liu Yuxi of the Tang Dynasty said in "Lang Tao Sha": "The running water does not stop, and the previous wave is not extinguished, and the next wave arises." Standing at the critical point at the turn of the century, looking up at the great tide of history, everyone's history The outlook and worldview seem to be much broader. Just as I was amazed, I suddenly realized that everyone is a lone traveler standing on a surfboard. You think you are riding the wind and waves with heroic appearance, but in fact you are helpless, drifting with the tide, and at the mercy of others. Of course, the tides and big waves of the times also wash away the purple sand and test human nature. No matter how you are an idiot in the waves, you have no control over it.

I read "Suffering Time" by Zheng Yunsou of the Tang Dynasty: "The power of the sail split the waves, and the hoofs of the horses broke through the chaotic green mountains. The fame and fortune are more than the wine, and the people are so drunk that they cannot wake up." Think about it, this matter has existed in ancient and modern times. All in all, there is no need to laugh at a hundred steps after fifty steps, but using this to describe the purple sand phenomenon is actually shockingly appropriate.

It’s not that reputation is not important, after all, it has standardized the production and marketing order of the entire purple clay industry in the past forty years. It’s not that interests are unimportant. After all, those who make clay sculptures, play with pots and drink tea are all economic animals. It’s hard to break off the six roots before the earthly connection is over. Even the open-minded Song Dynasty man Yang Gongyuan lamented: "Sixty degrees of spring and autumn, freedom without humiliation or glory." It is not too late to lose fame and fortune in a decade, but how many decades are there in life?

Recently, by chance, we hosted the most meaningful cross-strait purple sand exchange since the "pots shared, shared difficulties - Cross-strait purple clay teapot disaster relief bazaar", which has a lot of insights into the life of the purple clay community. Receive deeper observations and feelings, and accept the warmth and coldness of human feelings one by one.

A century-old earthquake that shattered the earth revealed many good and bad things - whether it was the salad oil barrel hidden in the Chinese pillars, or the hidden depths of human nature. love.

Cross-strait purple clay exchanges began to flourish about twenty years ago. As the richest collection of purple clay pottery, the close friendship between Taiwan and Yixing is by no means comparable to other cities in China. Twenty winters and summers passed, and the cross-sea relationship between the two places made each other have many friends - some friends even just met each other for more than ten years.

At countless tea tables across Taiwan, during the long conversations about pot making, pot lovers all cherished the treasures of Gu Jingzhou, Jiang Rong and other masters of the purple art. What’s interesting is that they even called Name your deputy mayor!

On an autumn night in 1999, the fate of many Taiwanese people changed for tens of seconds when the earth shook. Regrettably, on average, one person out of every 10,000 Taiwanese has lost his precious life. The good news is that for every victim, there are 10,000 people who can help his bereaved family.

I am grateful that Yixing pottery friends who have a deep friendship with Taiwan have responded to this fundraising event. Under the initiative of Yixing Zisha Craft Factory and Ceramics Professional Committee, more than a hundred potters participated in the event. The branch factory faction does not care about fame and fortune, they just want to do their best. Similarly, dozens of purple clay merchants and collectors in Taiwan have actively participated. Some of them donated high-priced collections, and some assisted in liaising and transporting exhibits. In total, about 240 pieces of famous teapots of various sizes and about 450 pieces were collected. Pieces of commercial pots, tea sets, porcelain cups, and books fully demonstrate the unique friendship and enthusiasm in the purple clay pot art world.

Compared to the tragedy of suffering, this donation is of course only a small amount. But the important thing is that this brotherly love, which is thicker than water, and the love of flesh and blood, allows us to "share the pot and shoulder the hardships together."

A few years later, future pot lovers will write in the "History of the Development of Yixing Zisha": The pot lovers on both sides of the Taiwan Strait were separated by historical cracks in 1949, but because of the end of the century exactly fifty years later, Strong and closely united. These pot lovers firmly believe that the golden tea soup pouring out of the purple clay pot will eventually irrigate new shoots of hope in the cracks and fill any gaps...

Zhuni and red mud

Since readers and netizens often ask about the distinction between red clay, red clay and red soil, here is a brief introduction as follows:

1. Zhu Ni, "Yangxian Teapot Series", "Yangxian Ming" "Tao Lu" is called "Shi Huang Ni". Produced in Zhaozhuang, Chuanbu, Yixing, the mineral layer is located at the bottom of the tender mud and mineral layers. It contains extremely high iron oxide and is as hard as stone. However, its mineral shape is trivial and requires manual selection. However, since it is difficult to make pottery alone and the molding process is also difficult, it is usually used as a decorative clay for the surface of purple clay vessels. To make the historical "Zhu Ni Pot", 80% of Xishan tender mud (Zhaozhuang area) and 20% of Dongshanjia mud must be washed with water. This is because red clay pottery is not fire-resistant and the firing temperature is low. Adding Dongshanjia clay does not change the red color, but increases the fire-resistant temperature. And after picking out the raw materials from the tender mud of Xishan Mountain, crushing them and finding the stone yellow mud, "the pottery turns into cinnabar color."

2. Vermilion mud is very valuable. In those days, its value was more than 50 times that of purple sand mud. It was mined and collected and sold at a price of jin. However, vermilion mineral resources are limited and mining is difficult. In 1973, the raw ore was nearly exhausted and the production of red mud products was almost discontinued. It is replaced with new materials, Sichuanbu red clay and polydongshan red clay, which have a rich color and unparalleled plasticity. In 1980, the trial production of red mud dipped in paste was finally successful. At one time, red mud dipped in paste was used to replace the red mud horizontal pots produced for export. However, the process was complicated and the yield was low, and production was soon discontinued. In 1982, technological formulas were used to adopt Sichuanbu earth-yellow rock mud (commonly known as Sichuanbu red mud) and tender mud, and an appropriate amount of iron red powder was added as the red mud raw material. From then on, it has been used in large quantities and continues to this day.

3. Therefore, the only difference between red mud and red mud is the historical mineral source. Today's Zhu Ni is no longer the Zhu Ni of Ming and Qing Dynasties, and the two should not be confused.

4. Today’s Zhu Ni is not as “yellow as stone” in the past, so iron red powder must be added to make it reddish. Otherwise, it will only be yellow-orange and not popular in the market. In addition, because Taiwanese people pursue a "sonorous" sound, glass water is often added to the clay to increase its degree of crystallization and produce higher audio frequencies. However, if too much glass water is added, although the color will be bright, the pores will be almost closed, which is not conducive to the change of the pot. (If you pour him six pounds of tea, it will always be so bright!)

5. Cheap red clay pots from street stalls even use the white clay used to make daily pottery in Yixing, add a lot of iron red powder and glass water, basically It is made of synthetic mud, which has lost its properties and can only be used to deceive laymen. (Please, a pot is made with all the materials, ready and shipped to Taiwan, and then approved in large quantities. How many families can one pot support? Three pots cost 500 yuan, and there is also a guarantee letter... It’s really hard to think of it...)

6. Today, the real distinction between red clay and red clay is based on 1. clay content, 2. audio, and 3. color performance. However, the current chaos is caused by the interference of sand mixed in 1, glass water to help 3 and oxide color adjustment. Therefore, the real distinction can only be made by looking at the mesh size of the sieve. The traditional method of clearing mud is to collect water and use water power to divide the mud into grades from coarse to fine. The finer one is the pot, which is the so-called Zhu. Clay pot.

(Please note that there is mud and sand in a pot, just like cement is also mixed with fine sand and fine stones)

7. Some businesses claim that it is Qing Dynasty mud, but basically there is no such thing. I'm arrogant, but I hope you will buy this pot because of its clay performance and workmanship, not because it has a legendary name. Because "the clay deposits in the Yixing area are the result of a regression sequence. Since the end of the Silurian Period of the Lower Paleozoic Era, it has experienced four regressions and three sea immersions. They were about 200-400 million years ago. The Yixing clay deposits were in the Devonian. And formed in the middle of the Early Carboniferous period. Among them, Jia mud and purple sand mud are Kuangji deposits, and tender mud and red mud (cinnabar mud) are sedimentary and weathered deposits. "So, if someone says that he has Ming Dynasty mud from the Dabin period. , so why not?

Recently I read a book called "Purple Ou Universe", which tells the story of how a person who is interested in the art of purple clay pots went from a scavenger to a master of pottery. It should be said that this is quite interesting content, but before I could read it, I couldn't help but feel nervous about this book.

"Zi Ou Qian Kun", I guess it means "Zisha Spring and Autumn", and Zi Ou means purple clay pot. There are numerous books on the art of purple clay pots, such as "The Light of Purple Clay", "The Universe in the Pot", "Purple Clay Squares", "Purple Clay Appreciation" and so on. For the majority of readers, "So far, "It feels stale", telling the story about the purple clay teapot, the name "Zi Ou Qian Kun" can be said to be a bit original.

However, using "Zi Ou" to refer to purple clay teapots is disappointing. Isn't "Zi Ou" a purple clay teapot? Of course not! It is an indisputable fact that purple sand pottery originated in the Northern Song Dynasty. In 1976, an early purple sand kiln site from the Northern Song Dynasty was discovered in Yangjiao Mountain, Lishu Village, Dingshan, Yixing, and a large number of purple sand pottery fragments were unearthed, which is a clear proof.

But purple clay pottery is not the same as purple clay pot. The earliest classic book "Yangxian Teapot Series" says that the earliest founder of the purple clay teapot was the monk of Jinsha Temple who was the master of spring worship during the Zhengde period of the Ming Dynasty. In 1966, it was discovered at Youfang Bridge outside Zhonghuamenwai, Nanjing in the 12th year of Ming Jiajing (1533 AD). The earliest purple clay teapot known so far was unearthed from the tomb of Wu Jing, the eunuch who was responsible for the ceremony.

Staff, I hope that the longer the history of the purple clay teapot, the better. The further back the history, the more glorious it seems. As a result, some characters that may be related to the purple clay pot were found. Mi Fu, a poet, calligrapher and painter of the Northern Song Dynasty, "Man Ting Fang." Shao Sheng Jiaxu and Zhou Shuren tried to give tea in the late spring, and wrote this music: "Yayan flies to the cup, sitting in the clear Tan Tan, so that you can meet all the wise men. The dense clouds and twin phoenixes are beginning to break through the golden clouds. The smoke from the stove outside the window automatically opens. Try a bottle of fragrant spring. The light waves rise, the fragrance is born, and the snow is gone. Some people think that the "purple pot" in the poem is a purple clay pot.

The title of the book "Purple Ou Universe" is probably based on this. Mi Fu's poems clearly mention "Double Phoenix", which is the name of dragon and phoenix cake tea. In the Song Dynasty, the brewing method was used to drink tea. The cake tea was crushed and brewed with boiling water before drinking. It was not brewed with loose tea as usual today. The tool for drinking tea was of course a cup instead of a pot. . The "Zi Ou" in the poem is a purple lamp, so you can see the "snow splash".

In fact, you can fully understand this point by reading the poem "Tea Test" by Cai Xiang, a tea expert in the Northern Song Dynasty: "The rabbit hair is new, the crab eyes are boiled in the spring." It is clearly written. "Zi Ou" is a rabbit-haired Tianmu bowl produced in Jian kiln in Fujian. It is also called a partridge-spotted bowl. It was a famous product used for tasting and fighting tea during the Northern Song Dynasty.

People hope that the history of our purple clay teapots can be traced back several years. This wish is blameless, but there are not enough historical facts to support it. When researching, we just rely on our own assumptions. If you insist on it, not only will it not help the matter, but it will make people laugh.

"Zi Ou" was mistaken for a purple clay pot, which at least shows that it has made the mistake of interpreting the meaning of the text and misrepresenting it. For a long biographical literary work of more than 200,000 words, it cannot but be said that it is surprising. Unfortunately, even the most basic common sense is not understood, so what is the point of rigor?

Are you talking about the content of the Tuhao Tianmu Bowl? A slight difference can lead to a loss of thousands of miles! ;
