Location of Nanchang: Nanchang is located in the north of central Jiangxi, in the lower reaches of Ganjiang River and Fuhe River, on the southwest bank of Poyang Lake, between 115 27' and 116 35' east longitude and 28 1' and 29 11' north latitude. Yugan, Dongxiang in the east, Linchuan, Fengcheng in the south, Gaoan, Fengxin and Jing 'an in the west, and Poyang Lake in Yongxiu, Duchang and Poyang counties in the north.
