What is the essence of dreams?

1, psychological refraction. Psychologist Freud believes that dreams are actually a kind of spiritual refraction. Of course, this refraction is not as simple as one day. Refers to a person's inner anxiety and some privacy. After some refraction and amplification, the dream finally came into being. Freud's cognition is the highest authoritative understanding of dream interpretation in psychology at present.

And this explanation can stand scrutiny to a certain extent. For example, if a person is seriously frightened, then this person will constantly feel that he is having nightmares.

In addition, people who have deep negative memories of childhood, most of their dreams in their later years are actually related to the negative memories of childhood. For example, insecure people often dream that they are in a fortress, because the fortress will give them a sense of security.

People who are not confident often have more bizarre dreams. For example, many things that are about to be completed will be inexplicably classified as failures in dreams. These are actually psychological reflections of self-confidence.

2. Parallel time and space. However, some people's dreams are still strange. For example, some people often dream about people they don't know, that they are in a special city or a special scenic spot, and that they have never met in the real world.

It is difficult to answer these questions with daily thinking. Of course, Freud's analysis may not be able to explain this kind of dream. There are two explanations for this phenomenon. Of course, these two explanations can also be understood as two conjectures.

One is that these people and situations are actually based on the imagination of the dreamer. Since it is imaginary, of course, it will not really meet in reality. However, there is something unreasonable about this statement. Even imagination needs a prototype, but in reality, many dreamers do not have such a prototype.

The other is that the people, cities and scenic spots encountered in these dreams actually come from another time and space. In other words, there is a dislocation in parallel time and space, which leads to this dream.
