Why do dreams have this effect? Because in sleep, people's defense will relax.
During the day, the reason and logic in the brain collapse in sleep, and then something deep in the subconscious will have a chance to appear. Dreams are like opportunities provided by the subconscious mind to approach dreams. Because there is no rational supervision and logic, the dreams we recall are absurd and chaotic, and sometimes time, people and places completely cross.
In fact, absurdity and chaos are closer to the subconscious state to some extent.
Why can you understand a person's instinctive desire in a dream? For example, someone is serious, rigorous, stiff and rigid, and his dreams may be quite humorous. The other person is gentle, humble, non-aggressive, calm and gentle, but his dreams may be very aggressive and he often dreams of violence. It can be understood that the so-called surface calm during the day is because he suppresses a lot of aggression, such as loss and anger in interpersonal communication, but he is used to not experiencing these emotions, which are more likely to pop up at night.
Conversely, if a person releases aggression during the day, it may not be released in dreams, and what we don't realize is often more likely to appear in sleep. The life experience of each of us tells us that dreams must contain many parts that we can't face, don't want to face, are very scared and don't understand during the day.
Adler believes that dreams are subconscious self-adjustment and encouragement, and also the setting of future goals. Adler also mentioned dreams, which are self-adjustment and encouragement in the subconscious and the setting of future goals. I have great feelings about this. Different people will use their own personal styles to understand the same phenomenon. As we all know, Adler put forward a very important theory of transcending inferiority and ego. His interpretation of dreams also bears personal brand and color, as if dreaming can also be "chicken blood", with great emphasis on self-transcendence and self-motivation. Of course, I don't think this can sum up all the situations. Because sometimes we are depressed, but we can't see self-adjustment and self-motivation in our dreams. Some people's dreams are always about self-humiliation and fear. However, there must be unwilling thoughts behind many fears and shames that a person experiences, which may be the reason why he is constantly exposed to many negative subconsciousness. So it depends on where you stand.
Fromm believes that the function of dreams is to explore the interpersonal relationship of dreamers and find the answers. Fromm has also interpreted dreams, and he thinks that the function of dreams is to explore the interpersonal relationship of dreamers and help them find the answers to these questions. Just as many people are troubled by scientific research, sometimes they can find the answer in their dreams. What we don't know is that if a person has the motivation to solve problems, his subconscious mind is actually working all the time, which will also be reflected in dreams. Of course, even if we are eager for the answer, it is difficult to predict how many dreams we have to have to find the answer. From this perspective, there are painful and conflicting parts and disturbing parts in interpersonal relationships, and dreaming can constantly reproduce the scene and make people find a little understanding. Therefore, dreaming can present a pattern of intimate relationship at the same time, and it is also a way to increase people's subconscious understanding.
Freud pointed out that any dream has the meaning of showing and hiding dreams, or showing and hiding them. The so-called manifestation is the superficial phenomenon of dreams. The dreams we recall, we can remember the content described. Psychologically speaking, this is just a mask. Invisibility is the essence of dreams, which refers to the subconscious desire in the true sense. Psychoanalytic dream interpretation is to see the hidden meaning behind a person's speech and the real desire behind it. So this is completely in line with the goal of our psychological counseling. We want to go into a person's inner subconscious, which is the most basic motivation for us to talk about dream interpretation. Because manifestation is formalized and modified by reason, consciousness and moral principles, it is called dream modification. A person telling this dream is not the most subconscious and true consciousness. Although it is a dream, it has been modified and disguised. To put it bluntly, even if a person tells a dream, he knows it is a dream, but it also has some taboos, which may be imperceptibly unconscious, and he has handled it well in the process of telling it.
It suddenly occurred to me that there was a program on TV called "Copy Without Distortion-Message". When the first person reached the tenth person, the first sentence was distorted by the last person. It can be seen that what is told to a person at the level of consciousness is not necessarily really dangerous, and bad content will be copied and deformed. Even if there are many taboos in the subconscious, the dream dictated by the dreamer must be different. Because the true desire itself is bound to be hidden behind, what we have to do is to restore how this dream modifies a person's subconscious.
