Ancient dreamers had two theories about dirty dreams. One is fierce.
"Dunhuang suicide note dream book" says: "I am ashamed to dream of mud clothes."
"The Book of the Duke of Zhou in the New Collection" says: "I dreamed that the soil and clothes were dirty." "I dreamed that I was seriously ill in the toilet."
More people regard the filth in dreams as good luck, saying that filthy excrement is a symbol of money.
"Teach the Yellow Testament, Dream Book" says, "Dream of dung and dirty clothes and get rich. Dreaming of toilets also makes money. "
There is also: "Dream of dirty clothes, get rich, dream of being trapped in the toilet, dirty clothes, get rich."
"New Collection of Duke Zhou's Letters": "Dreaming of shit and dirty clothes."
And: "I dreamed of peeing on the road, which made me rich."
There is an obvious contradiction between the two. The original intention is probably to regard mud and other images as dirty people, including toilets, which are fierce, while dreams are images of physical and mental impurity, so they indicate shameful diseases. However, people who regard shit as a symbol of money, people who regard food as money in ancient times, shit so much food, just like money. Up to now, folklore has it that people who indulge in foreign things are "not accumulating wealth", also known as "eating at home and taking wild shit", which is the legacy of the ancients who regard shit as treasure.
