The Inheritance and Influence of Fengxian Mountain Opera

"Red plums bloom in red rocks and thousands of miles of frost step on them ..." Beautiful melodies and exciting songs hover in Nanqiao Cinema. Jiang Jie, a mountain drama that deeply educated Fengxian people 43 years ago, reappeared in front of the audience on July 1 2007.

Some old members of the Folk Song Troupe have proposed to rearrange the mountain play Jiang Jie in the educational activities to maintain the advanced nature of the members. With the support of Fengxian Chemical Industry Division, nanqiao town Municipal Government and District Propaganda and Culture Department, Fengxian Folk Song' Sister Jiang' Troupe was established. Among the more than 30 cast members, there are more than 10 old actors of folk opera troupe, and most of the rest are members of Maple Leaf Art Troupe. Wu Meihua, who plays an old woman with two guns, and Cao, who plays Jie Jiang, are both original characters, and Cao is the original B-corner. After more than 40 years of vicissitudes, most of the actors are grandparents. Sister Jiang's reenactment is full of emotion, but her passion and elegance remain the same.

After a lapse of 43 years, on the occasion of the 84th anniversary of the founding of the Party and the advanced education activities in full swing, Jiang Jie, a drama of Fengxian Mountain, was re-staged by some retired grandparents. They performed eight performances in a row, which attracted admiration and was highly praised by the district Committee and government. Everyone in and out of the play was moved for a long time. Everyone was moved by the melodious melody of this Shanghai folk song "Only Child", by the heroic spirit of the people of Jiang Jie, and even more by the feat of the old people overcoming many difficulties. On the morning of June 5438+065438+1October 8, 2007, Fengxian Mountain Opera was staged every day at the 8th China Shanghai International Art Festival. A children's folk song performed "Carp yue longmen", which was refreshing and happy for the successors of Shanxi Opera.

Most of the 10 children who participated in this performance have never been exposed to drama. After less than a month's rehearsal, the children gradually accepted this kind of drama, which was born and raised in their hometown. From the beginning, they didn't understand it and felt uncomfortable singing, to every movement and style. Yuan Xiaoyan, a little actress, told us that she thought it was a specialty of Fengxian, which was more intimate than other local operas.

The instructor of the District Children's Palace told us that she thought that in order for children to inherit and carry forward the mountain drama, they should first watch, listen and practice more. Only by fully understanding the mountain drama can children really like it. Secondly, we should select some children with outstanding conditions in all aspects and let them participate in some small plays. We can also make up some short plays that children can understand according to their age characteristics, and show them to our peers, so that everyone can understand that there is such a local drama in Fengxian-Mountain Opera, which can expand the influence of Mountain Opera on children from point to point.

It is understood that nanqiao town Wenguang Center and District Children's Palace will jointly build a training base for young people's mountain operas, so as to create conditions for children to get in touch with mountain operas and cultivate mountain opera talents from an early age.

Fengxian Mountain Opera disappeared and reappeared on the stage, which gave us an inspiration that our stage art should really create and perform works that people like and satisfy their artistic appreciation desire. At the same time, it also shows that national art and local Han folk art have strong vitality. Why? Because they come from the Han people and are rooted in ordinary people, they will not die easily. In fact, many operas in China have been developed on the basis of Han folk songs, such as Yue Opera, Huangmei Opera, Xi Opera, Shanghai Opera and Longjiang Opera in Northeast China. Although Fengxian Mountain Opera has not developed into a major drama in Shanghai, nor has it made its way to Jiangsu, Zhejiang and even the whole country, as a local drama, it is still a wonderful flower in Shanghai's art garden, and it should be paid as much attention as Jinshan peasant painting and the "lantern rolling" in Fengxian area of Nanhui, so that it can be passed down and become the art of ordinary people.

In fact, the art of mountain drama is also worthy of musicians' attention and attention. One of the creative sources of China folk music is folk songs and ballads. At present, I think there are three directions for the development of folk music: one is to sort out and explore classical music, the other is to study and sort out Buddhist music and Taoist music left over from Buddhist temples, and the third is to collect folk songs and absorb nutrition from folk songs and minor tunes. So I suggest that folk music workers can pay attention to Fengxian Mountain Opera. I have heard a mountain opera aria called "Not Coming Because of Agriculture", which is a famous song in "Touching the Sedan Chair". Very nice, with a strong flavor of folk songs and the fragrance of the fields. It is said that in the 1960s, the relevant departments went to collect artists' folk songs. An old artist sang folk songs for two days, and the old folk songs in his stomach were not finished. I wonder if those old artists who are full of folk songs can still find them? It is a problem for them to be rescued as soon as possible. Nowadays, the economy of Fengxian District is developing rapidly and the pace of urbanization is accelerating. For the inheritance and survival of folk art, this prospect is really worrying.

Today, Fengxian Mountain Opera has resumed its "pengtou", which is very encouraging. Some experts suggested that Fengxian could re-establish a new folk song troupe, which attracted the attention of Fengxian District Bureau of Culture and Broadcasting. It will be a good thing to reorganize the opera troupe and inherit Shanghai's folk art.
