The filial piety, loyalty, trustworthiness, etiquette, justice and integrity are: Wang (forgetting) eight shameless
Because Yuan Shikai betrayed his country and sought Rong, who attempted to proclaim himself emperor but was indignantly opposed by the people, used this couplet to mock Yuan Shikai (actually this couplet was used to mock Hong Chengchou in the late Ming Dynasty).
Usually, when we read "one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight" and "filial piety, loyalty, trust, etiquette, justice and shame" here, it seems that the first couplet deliberately forgot that "eight" means "forgetting eight" (bastard eight), The second line is "shameless", which implicitly means "shameless bastard". It is really implicit and is a happy scolding.
