Set out the kerb line, accurately measure and locate the longitudinal coordinate position and elevation of the kerb according to the design drawing, and then nail the pile and hang the line (double hanging line method). When installing kerbs, first mix 1:3 mortar for leveling, and the mortar thickness is/10 mm~20 mm ~ 20 mm. Install kerbs according to the setting-out position and design elevation, and ensure the stability of kerbs.
During the construction and installation of kerbs at intersections, the internal and external arc length and kerb length of each kerb should be calculated according to the intersection radius, and processed and shaped in advance.
Matters needing attention in kerb construction of concrete pavement
Material requirements: The appearance, types, specifications and dimensions of concrete kerbs shall meet the design requirements of drawings. Before use, check the quality, strength and smooth surface.
The color of all concrete kerbs should be consistent, and the color difference should not be too large. Try to choose the same supplier, and don't choose multiple suppliers at the same time to cause color difference. In addition, the dimensions of internal chamfers should be consistent, and sand, cement and gravel should be used. It needs strict inspection for building and masonry, and can only be put into use after passing the inspection.
