Brief introduction of Tan Sitong's tomb

Tan sitong's tomb is a national key cultural relics protection unit. Located at the foot of Shishan, Xiaoshui Village, Niushi Township, about 8 kilometers south of Liuyang County (now Sitong Village). 1June, 904, moved and buried here from the county seat. Covers an area of about160m2. The tomb is semi-circular, covered with round flat pebbles, with stone pillars on three sides and green slates all around. There is an altar in front, surrounded by a figure of eight on both sides. After the tombstone tee, Qiyangshi, the main regular script inscription: the tomb of Tan Gong, a doctor in the Qing Dynasty, was born in Fu Jun, 2 meters high and 0.7 meters wide. There are stone horses in front of the cemetery.

The water conservancy was built in 1958, and all the huabiao and slate were pried open. 1September, 983, the cemetery was renovated, slope protection was added below the platform, and a mountain road with 85 cement masonry steps was built to facilitate hanging.

Turn left at an old intersection before entering the village. Walking along the old road to the other end of the old and small waters, you can see the stone steps, but they are not very conspicuous.

Take a bus from Changsha East Bus Station to Liuyang, take bus 1 near Liuyang East Bus Station, transfer to bus 15 at Liuyang South Bus Station, and get off at Sitong Village, Niushi Town. Find the intersection and enter the village, walk or let the shopkeeper at the intersection take it to the cemetery by motorcycle.
