Today's sightseeing spots are Bazishan and Xiaotaoyuan in Nanjing.
Bazishan is located in Yijiangmen, Nanjing, and was called Wang Si in ancient times. Nanjing local zhiyun: "Taste the immortal Ge Yuan (Xuan), the mountain is extremely spectacular, hence the name."
1929, passing through Zhongshan North Road to welcome Sun Yat-sen's coffin. At that time, the National Government built the eight characters of "loyalty, filial piety, benevolence, faithfulness and harmony" on the mountainside with stones, and from then on, Wang Sishan was changed to "Bazi Mountain".
After 1949, it became eight traditional Chinese characters of "developing production and prospering economy".
During the Cultural Revolution, the eight characters were changed to "unity, tension, seriousness and vividness".
In the past 80 years, the name of Bazishan has not changed, but it has. The eight-character mountain seems to be a mirror, reflecting the changes of the city and the vicissitudes of the world.
In 2004, Bazishan Park was completed.
