Do you need to read the horizontal batch when posting couplets?

The horizontal batch should be closely related to the content of the Spring Festival couplets. It can be said to be the title and the center of the couplets. Good horizontal batches can play a finishing touch and complement each other in the couplets.

Things to note: First of all, the number of words in the Spring Couplets should be equal. This is the most basic rule. Then, the words in the upper and lower couplets should be corresponding. Then, the level of the upper and lower lines should be coordinated. Traditionally, the first line of the first line is in flat tone, and the second line is in flat tone. When pasting Spring Festival couplets, traditionally the Spring Festival couplets are written vertically from top to bottom, with the top couplet on the right hand side and the bottom couplet on the left hand side.

In addition, horizontal batches are traditionally read from right to left. But now there is a new way of pasting Spring Festival couplets, with the top couplet on the left and the bottom couplet on the right. This is also possible, but please note that at this time, the horizontal batch must be read from left to right.

Extended information:

Distinguishing oblique and oblique words is the most basic method, but it is not the safest way. In addition to the confusion between ancient and modern sounds, some couplets themselves do not follow oblique and oblique rules. This type of couplet is very rare. For example, there is a famous couplet in Yuelu Academy in Changsha, Hunan: Only Chu has talent, and Yu Si is prosperous. This is an ordinary couplet. It is equally harmonious when read, with cadences and neat contrasts.

This couplet is in succession and in opposition to each other, so when we identify the upper and lower couplets, we can compare their inheritance and internal connections. If there is a chronological order, the first is generally the top and the latter is the bottom.

You can also look for collocations. If there are words in the same position in the upper and lower couplets that can be matched into a word, then the first word in the word is the upper couplet, and the second word is For the second line.
