Don't let 3.9 seconds break the aura and bury other highlights of Han EV

Reasonable, this test drive draft is really difficult to write.

Some models, even if you open it for a week, turn around and open word to write a manuscript, still look puzzled. After thinking about it for a long time, I came up with eight words: it's a pity to eat tasteless and abandon it. Of course, this can't be typed in the article.

BYD Korea EV is the other extreme. There are too many highlights in the car and too many things to talk about, so it is difficult to choose.

Motive? Hum (sneer)

The version composition of Korean EV is not complicated. If the power unit is used to distinguish, it is nothing more than a long-life version of a single-motor predecessor and a high-performance version of a dual-motor four-wheel drive.

The former is equipped with 163 kW motor on the front axle, and the acceleration time of 100 kilometers is 7.9 seconds; On this basis, the four-wheel drive version adds a 200 kW motor to the rear axle, so the total power of the vehicle directly soars to 363 kW and the torque reaches 680 Nm.

The more violent power has also created a more rapid acceleration capability of the four-wheel drive version. The official acceleration time of 100 kilometers is only 3.9 seconds. And as expected, BYD once again put this achievement worth showing off under the name of the rear model.

Admittedly, you can have some reservations about the acceleration time posted on the rear of the car, but you have to admit that the acceleration of 3.9 seconds is really unacceptable.

What is the concept of this data? Don't consider the original gasoline car within 500,000 yuan. For example, the Audi S3, which is the most common collision, actually takes 4.8 seconds to accelerate the car. Tucki's P7 four-wheel drive high-performance version is 4.3 seconds, but the low price is more than 60,000 yuan more expensive than Korean EV; Models? 3 High-performance all-wheel drive is really fast, and the result of 3.4 seconds is directly in line with super-running, but the price of 465,438+0.98 million is not very "friendly".

Therefore, 279,500 was exchanged for a model with 494 horsepower, 680 Nm and 3.9 seconds. At least from the power level, BYD Korea EV is cost-effective enough to rank in the "value-for-money" file.

Then the question is, if it is only for daily use, will the four-wheel drive high-performance version of the Korean EV appear to have excess performance?

In fact, in ECO mode, it is not difficult to control the four-wheel drive high-performance Korean EV.

First, the power output at this time is actually limited, and it can be clearly felt that both motors are trying to restrain their nature; Secondly, the distribution of power is very linear, and the power corresponding to the first half of the pedal stroke is quite soft, depending on how deep the accelerator is stepped and how much power is given.

So don't start stage fright after 3.9 seconds. At least in ECO mode, the high-performance version of the Korean EV four-wheel drive is still relatively friendly.

What about the exercise mode? The system relaxes all restrictions on power, and the motor torque is directly at full load ... Anyway, after getting used to the acceleration of 4 seconds, the threshold will be raised a lot when riding a roller coaster.

It is expected that it will be the predecessor of the main sales version, and its performance will be "normal". The acceleration of 7.9 seconds is between 1.5T and 2.0T of gasoline engine, and the acceleration feeling of ECO mode will be softer.

The dynamic response in sports mode will also be more positive, and the accelerator pedal will instantly become much lighter. But like most electric vehicles, the advantages of acceleration are mainly reflected in the middle and low speed range; At high speed, the power of the motor is still very fast, but the power will be weakened to some extent.

Why not talk about endurance?

If power is the easiest product point for new energy vehicles to make colorful products, then battery life is undoubtedly the short board with the highest frequency of being poked in the spine of this type of vehicles.

No matter these years, whether the cruising range standard is from constant speed to NEDC, to WLTP or EPA, or the cruising range value has overcome one hundred-year mark after another, it has not effectively improved consumers' mileage anxiety about electric vehicles.

The reason, in addition to the long-standing energy supplement problem, is the discount rate of battery life. It's the car companies that clap their chests and tell you that our car ran 500km on full charge, and you just ran 350km. At first glance, the instrument shows that the cruising range is zero.

The endurance performance of Korean EV is enough to refresh your understanding of the endurance discount rate.

First, explain the objective conditions. This is not a test in a strict sense, or more accurately, a normal test drive, so we only record the mileage of the vehicle after departure and arrival, and show the value of the reduction of cruising range.

And in order to understand the new car as comprehensively as possible, the driving mode in the whole process is not very peaceful, and the acceleration, kinetic energy recovery, braking and control of the vehicle will be experienced. And the test drive route is from Lijiang city to Diqing Shangri-La. Except for a small section of urban areas and expressways, most of them are national highways, with an overall elevation increase of about 1 1,000 m and an outdoor temperature of 15-20 degrees Celsius.

On the road, the model is a distinguished version with long battery life, which is the top-of-the-line predecessor. The air conditioner has always been in automatic mode, and most of the time the vehicle is in ECO mode plus standard recycling, which is also to simulate the daily use state.

The actual driving distance is 177.2km, and the cruising range displayed by the instrument is reduced from 605km to 420km, only 185km. If you separate these two data, you will find that the endurance discount rate of the Korean EV two-wheel drive version is as high as 95.8%.

The return model was replaced by a four-wheel drive high-performance version, and only a part of the journey was taken as a reference. The actual driving distance is 75 kilometers, and the battery life is reduced by 77 kilometers. The discount rate after conversion is equivalent to 97.4%.

Just objectively speaking, the energy consumption of the four-wheel drive version is indeed slightly higher than that of the two-wheel drive version.

First, the data is intuitive. The battery capacity of both models is 76.9kWh, but the NEDC cruising range of the former is 605km, while that of the latter is 550km. After all, with high-power motors, it is completely understandable that the energy consumption is slightly higher.

Second, the altitude dropped by nearly 1 km on the return trip, so more gravitational potential energy can be converted into electric energy and kinetic energy. In this way, during the long journey halfway, the cruising range of the watch is in a state of "no increase or decrease".

Then why is the cruise discount rate of the four-wheel drive version only slightly higher than that of the two-wheel drive version with full climbing under the objective condition that the return journey is more dominant? The reason is ... I couldn't help myself when I was facing the mountain road, so I switched to sports mode, stepped on a few feet of floor oil, and the cruising range began to decline at a speed visible to the naked eye.

Chassis performance shocked chin

The common pre-McPherson rear multi-link has no adjustable shock absorber that can already appear in more than 200,000 levels. The chassis hardware of Han EV looks simple.

But it is such a pair of chassis, but it is definitely the core highlight of the whole vehicle.

If only one word can be used to describe the chassis of Han EV, the most accurate one is "texture".

Before Han, BYD's flagship was the SUV model Tang. Although the models, grades and prices are not very comparable, if the chassis of the two cars are compared separately, it can only be said that Tang and Han are really not in an order of magnitude, and the performance of the latter will even exceed a large number of joint venture models with the same price or even higher.

The adjustment of the whole chassis is a moderate and slightly hard style, which provides good support, and at the same time, the filtering of road bumps is quite in place, showing the common glossy feeling of luxury models.

Another big surprise of Han EV is the NVH performance of the whole vehicle. Whether it is the noise of motor operation or the wind noise amplified because there is no internal combustion engine, the "common problems" of these new energy vehicles have not appeared in Han EV. It is no exaggeration to say that the driving quality of Han EV does bring people too many surprises.

So that if I get in the car and guess, at least I can hardly think of BYD in my mind.

After talking about the advantages, it's time to find fault.

Although the chassis adjustment combined with the price of Korean EV is almost impeccable, there is still room for improvement in steering feel, which is only easy to open and has poor directionality, and the communication sense of steering wheel, tires and road surface is slightly lacking.

And the excellent chassis texture is really true, which is more than enough to deal with the predecessor version; But the four-wheel drive version is a "quasi-monster" model, 680 Nm, 3.9 seconds. The same chassis will have some signs of not yielding. In other words, it is actually a bit difficult for this chassis to cope with such a strong power.

Korean electric vehicle cooperates with Bosch to carry IPB integrated brake control system. According to the official introduction, the maximum deceleration is as high as 0.37g, which recovers 10% more braking energy than the ordinary kinetic energy recovery system. Specific to the use experience, the Brembo four-piston calipers equipped with the four-wheel drive version have quite good performance in braking foot feeling, kinetic energy recovery, caliper switching and so on.

It's just that the braking system of front-wheel drive vehicles is not linear enough at the initial stage of intervention, and the difference between the two gears of pedal foot feeling is not clear enough; The relatively good news is that these problems can be upgraded and optimized through OTA in the future.

The back row is so comfortable.

As for the exterior and interior, pictures are the main part, supplemented by some subjective experiences that are difficult to embody in pictures.

The body size of Han EV is really not small. The length of 4980mm goes straight to the 5-meter mark, but the real car is not big, and the overall visual effect is quite coordinated.

The imitation negative pressure window design on the C-pillar can easily distinguish two-wheel drive models from four-wheel drive models. The former adopts pure black color scheme, while the chrome-plated material as shown in the figure is the latter.

As for the rear of the car, the taillights running horizontally may look inconspicuous, but the ritualized lighting effect still creates a certain luxury atmosphere.

All models are 245/45? The tire size of R 19 is different from that of wheel hub and tire.

The standard 15.6-inch rotatable high-definition central control panel is still BYD's consistent design style, but in addition, the shape and workmanship of the interior have been greatly improved.

For example, Napa leather on the car, all raw materials are imported from Brazil; The decorative boards are all made of solid wood imported from Europe, which is much older than the industry standard, only for better texture effect; Therefore, the decorative strips used for edge wrapping are all solid pure aluminum materials.

Judging from the car experience, the back row of Han EV is undoubtedly impressive. Not only is the cushion length sufficient, but it forms a good support for the thighs, and the package of the backrest is also quite in place. Combined with ample legroom, it provides a ride experience close to that of an executive car.

If you don't think this is luxurious enough, you can also look at the eye top edition. Aside from the red color scheme, the seats on both sides can indeed be adjusted by electric backrest angle.

There is also an LCD screen on the central armrest, which can operate a series of functions such as air conditioning, multimedia, skylight and seat. Therefore, in the matter of pleasing the back passengers, Han EV must have lost a lot of money this time.

Overview of aluminum channel

Before the Korean EV test drive began, the media teacher in the same car was still questioning who would spend 270,000 yuan to buy a BYD electric car.

The result is not surprising. After the test drive, he kept shouting "It smells good" with the same expression as Wang Jingze.
