China's top ten scenic spots and historical sites refer to the top ten scenic spots and historical sites initiated by China Tourism News 1985 and selected by the people of the whole country on September 9 of that year, including the Great Wall of Wan Li, Guilin Landscape, West Lake in Hangzhou, Forbidden City in Beijing, Suzhou Garden, Huangshan Mountain in Anhui, Three Gorges of the Yangtze River, Sun Moon Lake in Taiwan, Summer Resort and Terracotta Warriors and Horses in the Qin Tombs. Wan Li Great Wall: China's great military building, with a large scale, is regarded as a miracle in the history of ancient human architecture. The main landscapes are Badaling Great Wall, Mutianyu Great Wall, Simatai Great Wall, Shanhaiguan, Jiayuguan, Hushan Great Wall and Jiumenkou Great Wall. Guilin landscape: Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region is a world-famous scenic tourist city and historical and cultural city. It is located in the northeast of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the southwest of Nanling Mountains, and it is a typical karst landform. After hundreds of millions of years of weathering and erosion, limestone all over the city has formed a unique landscape. It is one of the famous scenic spots in China and a world-famous tourist attraction. It is famous for the four wonders of Huangshan Mountain, including strange pines, strange rocks, clouds and hot springs. Three Gorges of the Yangtze River: the collective name of Qutang Gorge, Wuxia Gorge and Xiling Gorge in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River in China, referred to as the Three Gorges for short. Terracotta Warriors and Horses in the Qin Mausoleum: Located at the northern foot of Mount Li, 5 kilometers east of Lintong County, Shaanxi Province, it was the first emperor Qin Shihuang in the history of China (259 BC-2 BC10).
