What are the characteristics and uses of toothed chain plates?

Toothed chain, also known as silent chain, belongs to a form of transmission chain. Our national standard is GB/T 10855-2003 "Toothed Chain and Sprocket". The toothed chain is formed by alternately assembling a series of toothed chain plates and guide plates, which are connected by pin shafts or combined hinge elements, and there are hinged joints between adjacent sections. According to the guide type, it can be divided into: outer guide tooth chain, inner guide tooth chain and double inner guide tooth chain.

Main features:

The low-noise toothed chain transmits power by meshing the working chain plate with the involute tooth profile of sprocket teeth. Compared with roller chain and sleeve chain, the polygon effect is obviously reduced, and the impact is small, the movement is stable and the meshing noise is small.

2. The links of highly reliable tooth chains are multi-piece structures. When individual links are damaged in work, it will not affect the work of the whole chain, which is convenient for people to find and replace in time. If it is necessary to increase the bearing capacity, it is only necessary to reduce the dimension in the width direction (increase the number of connecting rods).

3. The motion accuracy is high. Each link of the toothed chain has uniform wear and elongation, which can maintain high motion accuracy.

The main application scope of toothed chain: toothed chain is mainly used in textile machinery, centerless grinder and conveyor belt machinery and equipment.

Tooth chain types: CL06, CL08, CL 10, CL 12, CL 16 and CL20. According to the guide, there are two types: internal guide tooth chain and external guide tooth chain, and internal and external composite tooth chain.
