The angry King Wu ordered Bian He's right foot to be cut off. Later, King Wu died and King Wen acceded to the throne. Bian He held the jade and cried at the foot of Chu Mountain for three days and three nights. When the tears dried up, he shed blood and tears. When King Wen of Chu learned about this, he sent someone to inquire. Bian He said, "What I am crying about is not that my feet are cut off, but that Baoyu is treated as a stone, and loyal ministers are treated as bullies, and innocent people are humiliated." So, King Wen ordered people to cut this rough jade open, and it was really a treasure jade, so he named this jade "Heshibi".
During the Warring States Period, Choi and Choi were mistaken by Zhao Haoqi Huiwen. Later, Xiang wanted this jade, so he sent an envoy to Zhao to say that he was willing to exchange 15 cities for the jade. The prince of Zhao did not dare to have a son in Qin, so he sent Lin Xiangru to Qin with Choi. The king of Qin was happy to see Cui, but he didn't want to give up his 15 city. So Lin Xiangru used a trick to ask the king of Qin to fast for three days and transfer the promised city of 15 to Zhao. In the meantime, Lin Xiangru asked him to bring Choi back to Zhao. This is the story of returning to Zhao in one piece.
Extended data:
After Qin Shihuang unified the six countries, he ordered craftsmen to carve jade into a special seal for the emperor, which was later the imperial edict. During the war at the end of Qin Dynasty, the imperial seal fell into the hands of Liu Bang, Sun Jian, Yuan Shu and others, and later returned to Wei. During the Southern and Northern Dynasties, the Sui Dynasty unified the whole country, and the imperial seal fell into the Sui Palace.
Later, when the Sui Dynasty perished, the decree was handed over to Li Tang. After the demise of the Tang Dynasty, Zhu Wen got the imperial seal, and then it fell into the hands of Li in the later Tang Dynasty. Before Shi Jingtang captured Luoyang at the end of Jin Dynasty in 936 AD, he and his concubines set themselves on fire in the palace, and everything in the imperial court was thrown into the fire at the same time. Since then, the national laws and regulations have not been followed. Heshibi has also become one of the 10 peerless treasures in the history of China.
