But it happened that someone did it, and that person was Li Wei.
Legend: Portrait of Li Wei
Li Wei's career?
In the twenty-seventh year of Kangxi, Li Jue was born in Fengxian County, Jiangsu Province. He grew up with a well-off family and a well-off life. In the fifty-sixth year of Kangxi, Li Jue donated money to Yuan Wailang (to buy an official) and was soon transferred to the imperial court as Yuan Wailang of the Ministry of War. "Outside employees" refers to increasing the number of employees. It used to refer to the Langguan who was located outside the regular allowance. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was mostly used to arrange donations. To put it bluntly, it was idle people.
However, in the 58th year of Kangxi, after Li Jue was appointed as a doctor, his ordinary life began with Yong Zhengdi's coming to power.
Legend: portrait of Yongzheng
In the early years of Yongzheng, he served as the salt post road in Yunnan (Zhengsi)
In the second year of Yongzheng, he was appointed as the deployment envoy of Yunnan (with the doctrine, equivalent to the deputy governor).
Yongzheng three years, served as the governor of Zhejiang (from the second grade, equivalent to the governor, from Yunnan to Zhejiang, appropriately promoted)
Yongzheng five years, served as the governor of Zhejiang (two products, equivalent to the governor, secretary of the provincial party Committee, commander of the provincial military region in one)
In the seventh year of Yongzheng, he was named the Minister of War (from Yipin)
In the tenth year of Yongzheng, he served as the governor of Zhili (from Yipin, the governor of Hebei and the commander of the Beijing Military Region, in charge of the public security of the whole capital, which shows Yongzheng's trust in it)
After three years' work, he died at the age of 5 1. According to the governor's example, Qianlong was given a funeral, and posthumous title Minda.
That is to say, from the fifty-sixth year of Kangxi (17 17), Li Wei donated an official to Yongzheng's seventh year (1729), he was made the minister of war, which was equivalent to a short period of 12 years.
Although Kang Yong experienced three dynasties, we can see that Li Wei was most influenced by Yongzheng. It can even be said that Li Wei's legendary life was contributed by Yongzheng.
Li Wei was neither born in Kejia nor a hero, but why did Yong Zhengdi always treat him as early as possible?
Although Li Jue is known as one of the "three minions" of Yongzheng, his promotion depends not on flattery, but on solid political achievements (with Yongzheng's scheming, it is impossible to become a government official by flattery).
One who is not afraid of power?
In Kangxi's later years, bureaucracy was lax and corruption became a common practice. Most ministers in the DPRK pursued fame and gain, followed the old rules, and the execution of the central institutions declined seriously. In some areas, a large number of interest groups colluded with officials and businessmen to form local clan forces, which led to a serious decline in national tax revenue. Faced with this situation, Yong Zhengdi, who just succeeded to the throne, urgently needs a large number of people who have nothing to do with North Korean forces, can be loyal to the monarch and serve the Lord, and do practical things.
At this time, Li Wei entered the line of sight of Yongzheng. In the fifty-eighth year of Kangxi, when Li Jue was appointed as a doctor of the Ministry of Housing, his subordinate, the Prince in charge of the Ministry of Housing, demanded an extra balance of 1200 yuan's money and grain. The so-called "flat surplus" means that all localities will hand it over to the household department in addition to the collection.
Legend: Li Yong in film and television dramas
Li Wei believes that local taxation is difficult in itself, and it is even more difficult to collect it after it is balanced. After repeatedly persuading the prince to cancel Pingying, he wrote the words "A certain Wang Pingying" directly in the lobby of the Ministry of Finance, which made the prince very embarrassed and forced him to stop charging.
Second, the ability is extremely strong?
This fearless approach immediately attracted Yong Zhengdi, who was appointed as the post road of Yunnan salt affairs as soon as he succeeded to the throne to deal with Yunnan salt administration. In the second year of Yongzheng, he was promoted to Li Wei as Yunnan's ambassador.
Legend: Map of Yunnan
At this time, Yunnan was in chaos, located in the border, with tough folk customs and almost abandoned salt administration; Official selling, smuggling, deficit and so on are commonplace. After Li Wei took office, by reducing the price of official salt and cracking down on official sales and smuggling, in less than three years, Yunnan's salt policy took on a new look, and the deficit was basically sorted out.
In this way, Li Wei showed Yongzheng that he was not only not afraid of power, but also dared to take responsibility and was very capable in business ability. Yongzheng then promoted Li Wei to be the governor of Zhejiang Province and concurrently served as the salt policy of Zhejiang Province, and had high hopes for Li Wei.
And Li Jue didn't live up to Yongzheng's expectations. He cracked down on Xiao Yan Group in Zhejiang, implemented the policy of "spreading land into mu", built Qiantangba for flood control, tidied up Jade Island and governed social order; During his tenure, the whole of Zhejiang Province was "the police of the five thieves in the southeast". Yongzheng Da Yue made local governors learn from Li Jue, praising Li Jue as "a great instrument of the country" and "a great help from the Holy Father, not only my hero, but also my benefactor".
Third, is it not the party or private?
When Li Wei was appointed governor of Zhili, he directly reported to Yongzheng that E Ertai's younger brother Erqi was one of the "three favorite ministers" of corruption and bribery. Although Yong Zhengdi resigned, his failure to form a party made Yongzheng trust him very much.
Legend: Portrait of E Ertai
At the same time, Yongzheng and Li Jue often exchanged letters, because Li Jue was aloof and often offended his colleagues. Yongzheng once said to Li Jue in Zhu Pi: "I am honest and honest, loyal and diligent, and I know this well, but if I take more precautions, I will not suffer." It can be seen that Yongzheng loved Li deeply.
General comments:
Throughout the history of the Qing Dynasty, likui jy can be regarded as an "able person" who is honest and clean, dares to do anything, is impartial, does not show favoritism and does not flatter others. He achieved this height by strength and is a model for people and ministers. In addition, Yong Zhengdi really innovated the chaos in the later period of Kangxi, and trusted Li Jue, so they got along well and finally left a much-told story.
