Bonism is a native Tibetan Buddhism, which is difficult to distinguish from Tibetan Buddhism in terms of temple architecture, Buddha statues and monk costumes.
The main difference is that Tibetan Buddhism turns the scriptures clockwise, and the basic mantra is the six-character mantra; Bonism is turning the sutra counterclockwise, and the basic spell is the eight-character true sutra. The sects of the two religions are also different. But basically, both theories hold the views of karma and reincarnation. It can be said that these two sects permeate, complement and compete with each other.
