What is the area of Youxi?

The total area is 3425.3 square kilometers. At the end of 2003, the registered population was 420,300, including 62,200 non-agricultural people. Datian dialect is popular in Minnan dialect. Youxi is a mountainous county in Fujian. Located in the middle of Fujian, north of Daiyun Mountain, adjacent to Minqing, Yongtai, Shaxian, Datian, Nanping and Dehua.

The whole territory covers an area of 3,463 square kilometers, ranking second among all counties (cities, districts) in the province (second only to Jian 'ou City); Among them, there are 4185,000 mu in mountainous areas, 340,000 mu in cultivated land (332,000 mu in paddy fields) and 669,000 mu in water areas. The people's government of the county is stationed in Chengguan Town. The county has jurisdiction over eight towns and seven townships, namely Chengguan Town, Meixian Town, Xibin Town, Yangzhong Town, Xinyang Town, Guanqian Town, Xicheng Town, Youxikou Town, Lianhe Township, Tang Chuan Township, Xiwei Township, Zhongxian Township, Taixi Township, Banmian Township and Baziqiao Township, with a total population of 420,000. It is the largest and most populous county in Sanming City.

Youxi is known as the "Pearl of Fujian" and awarded the titles of "Hometown of Kumquat in China" and "Hometown of Green Bamboo in China".
