Prose in the alley

Weekend, a little impetuous, always fidgeting. I thought Chaoyang was too naughty early in the morning. I shot obliquely into the old bed through the window, and the warmth woke me up. During the day, the shouts of garbage collection and the voices of neighbors calling for children sound annoying because I am very upset. Even cicadas in trees not far away annoy me. You can't rest during lunch break. I want to be in a daze, but I can't rest. So, at dusk, I went for a walk in the alley downstairs alone.

Walking on the concrete road in the alley downstairs, I stretched myself. Suddenly, a cluster of little green things caught my interest-I was wondering about the moss on the walls on both sides of the alley. This kind of moss has a strong vitality. It only stopped raining for a few days before it became heavier. The green moss is very lovely. A group of ants next to the moss are happily moving food back to their nests-this ant is also full of vitality, and if calculated in proportion, it is definitely a weightlifting champion in the animal kingdom. After observing these small animals and plants, I looked up at the sunset. At the moment, the sunset is hiding behind a cloud, half exposed, as if wanting to see me, but afraid of me, like an old man playing hide-and-seek with his grandson. The setting sun sinks in the west, more like an old man, and gradually has no strength to radiate light. However, it still tries to shine its last light. Think about it, moss, ants and sunset, how hard they are to show their lives, and I am bored at the moment, walking alone in the alley, staring blankly at the blue sky. "Tian Xingjian" has always been like this, but it is difficult for people to "strive for self-improvement".

Walking into the alley, I saw a small plaque behind the telephone pole with the words "Long Arm Lane" written on it. The name of this hutong is Xi 'an Hutong. According to the teacher, Xi means "get Xi" in Chaozhou dialect. There were no machines before, and rice milling and grain milling used "hulling" and "hulling arm alley", which must be the same as "hulling arm alley", or someone used to "hulling" here. This idea is very interesting. Many alleys in Chaozhou have interesting names. For example, if you look at the name of the embroidery workshop, you will remember that there must be many girls sitting together to embroider; Laocha Lane may be a thief. There are also ten alleys in Paifang Street, alleys extending in all directions in Palace Lane, and alleys in alleys. These alleys are named "Jiadi Lane" or as common as "Old Tea Lane". Looking at these alley names, I remembered the tolerance of Chaozhou culture for no reason. This kind of tolerance is all-encompassing. If it is absorbed into all rivers like the sea, there will be different styles and forms of folk culture and legends.

I have lived in the alley for five or six years. It is hard to imagine that this used to be the center of a city. Looking at the mottled walls and worn wooden windows on both sides of the alley, I was a little sighed. One is to feel the passage of time, and the other is to feel the difference of things. Alleys like Xi 'an Lane have been gradually forgotten by young people. In the discussion after dinner, most of them are gossip news and people's livelihood hotspots, and rarely involve any story or news of an alley. Alleys are now synonymous with poverty, although they have been sheltering people from the wind and rain for more than half a century. This reminds me of history. History will inevitably drown out many stories and names, those that can be remembered by history, such as big waves washing sand and a drop in the ocean. So it suddenly occurred to me that people may not be famous, and fame is easy to be impetuous. It is enough to treat literature and work with one's own plain accomplishment and persistent goals. Because this kind of value is more realistic, it is those who shout slogans and talk big all day, but can't do actual work and performance, and their personality is distorted. Although it is easier said than done, I still have to work hard in the direction of knowing and doing.

It only takes a few minutes to walk from one alley to another. During this time, I am very carefree-if only I were virtuous. Confucius said, "When you come back, you will eat and drink. If you can't bear it, you will be worried. If you go back, you will not change your fun." Yan Hui, as the most proud disciple of Confucius, has a really high realm. I can't reach him, and I'm far away from him, whether it's time or distance. But I am happy to follow him from a distance and quietly appreciate and taste this spirit. With the rapid development of science and technology and the rapid development of economy, I am afraid that only the elderly and monks can have this realm. Like most people, I still want to practice and create value for society and myself. Just thinking, a tricycle passed by me. I leaned over and frowned again-this alley is really narrow. Well, I think my heart still yearns for a lively life.

There is a land palace in front of the alley. The underground palace covers a small area and is simple, but it is full of incense. On the fifteenth day of the first lunar month and the Spring Festival holiday, some old ladies and middle-aged women always come here to worship. It is rare to see young people come here to worship, like Chaozhou, and it is estimated that other cities in China are the same. There are many such land palaces in Palace Lane. There seems to be a land palace at the junction of several alleys. Grandma often takes me to worship when she comes to Chaozhou. I don't believe in God, but I still worship very devoutly, first, to reassure my grandmother, and second, to reassure myself-I don't believe in God, but worship can reassure me. One day, I suddenly found a Guanyin bodhisattva in the underground palace. I was very happy-there is also a Guanyin bodhisattva near my home to worship. This kind of happiness is sincere. First, it is out of novelty. Second, I feel that the residents nearby are very kind and have their own beliefs. Many times, the underground palace is more useful than the police station. The police station only arrests people when something happens, and the underground palace played a role in attracting people to be kind and educating people before the accident. Alleys have become more harmonious because of the underground palace, and the residents of alleys have become more simple and kind because of the underground palace.
