Who knows the religious slogans about patriotism and love of religion? Send me a few for reference.

1. Protect your reputation and do not make fun of others. Be good at protecting your body and career, and never lose your discipline. Take good care of your mind and keep it pure and untainted. .

2. Do not be a traitor to the country, do not slander the country's leader, do not violate the country's system, and do not leak national taxes----Master Jingkong

The Buddha said the Ten Good Karma Sutra 48 Collection

(Master Jingkong gave a lecture at Jingzong Society on August 3, 2000)

Hello, everyone! In ancient times, when there were disasters in the country and severe disasters in local areas, the king and local officials knew how to use Buddhism to educate and transform sentient beings, and everyone above and below could follow the teachings and eliminate disasters through the influence of Buddha. We have seen many examples in history. Does it have any effect? Historical facts can prove it to us. Why does it work? This truth is very deep. The Mahayana Buddhist scriptures explain it very clearly, and Confucianism and other religions also explain it, but it is not explained as clearly as the Buddhist scriptures. This is because the Buddhist scriptures are abundant.

The Buddha told us that all living beings in the Buddha lands of the empty Dharma Realm are born from the same cause; this cause is the nature of mind taught in the Buddha's Dharma, and they are born from the same mind. Just like our human body, it is a body; this body has many cells. We now know that cells are not the smallest. Cells are composed of atoms and electrons. Modern scientists tell us that atoms and electrons are not the smallest either. There are also those smaller than electrons, one billionth of a million, called "quarks"; all living beings in our world are like the smallest matter, not knowing that the entire body is themselves, and clinging to that small particle and thinking it is themselves. When did he realize that the entire body was his own, then he realized that any particle could affect the whole body. Just like our body, if you prick any cell or any part with a needle, your whole body will feel pain. We understand this.

So the Buddha taught us that when there is a disaster, we must reflect, correct ourselves, and start over, so that we can resolve the disaster. So it has a deep truth. The Buddha's education is indeed an intelligent education of ultimate perfection and goodness in the world beyond the world. It can help us solve all problems in the world beyond the world. We encounter some ominous disasters in our daily lives. The floods, droughts, earthquakes, and wind disasters we often hear about are indeed caused by the bad karma of us sentient beings. It is wrong to say that these natural disasters are not related to our thoughts and behaviors. This is a wrong concept.

In the past, during the past two thousand years in China, during the era of emperors, it can be said that there were very few emperors who had not accepted Buddhism, almost none. Buddhism was introduced to China during the Han Dynasty. We know that it was introduced to China in the 10th year of Yongping, Emperor Ming of the Later Han Dynasty, in AD 67. After it was introduced to China, the Chinese scholar-official class is now referred to as intellectuals. In ancient times, the scholar-official class is now referred to as intellectuals. Whether he believes it or not, there is no one who does not read Buddhist books, more or less, and it has an influence. Very deep. When you are young, you are hot-blooded and have deep prejudices, you cannot accept them, but in your old age, many of them are accepted. The most representative figure is Han Yu. Han Yu rejected Buddhism when he was young. In his later years, he converted to Monk Dadian and studied Buddhism seriously. He realized that his past views and thoughts were wrong. Therefore, scholars in the past had the advantage that they knew their mistakes, could repent, and could make amends. This was very rare. Nowadays, some people are very stubborn. Even though they know they are wrong, they refuse to admit it or change it. The consequences are very miserable. We must not understand these principles, we must carefully observe the past and present facts, and build confidence from this place.

Buddhism is a life education from every bit of daily life until you completely understand the truth of the void Dharma Realm. Therefore, it is a complete teaching. We should understand that encountering it is a great blessing. Many politicians have doubts about religion because they do not know enough about it. Why did ancient China change its dynasties for thousands of years, and every emperor respected Buddhism? The reason is that he understands and recognizes Buddha, Bodhisattva, himself, and all sentient beings he educates. Regarding the country, there are two items in the Brahma Net Sutra. The first article is, "Don't be a traitor to the country." This is not allowed by Buddhist law. It is of great benefit to the country to welcome this person. Second, "Don't slander the leader of the country." Even if a country's leaders make mistakes, they must not slander them. Why? He is the center of trust for the whole country. If he slanders the national leader and arouses suspicion among the whole country, the country will be in danger. Therefore, you can advise, but you cannot slander. We think this is something that any national leader in the world would welcome.

There are also two items in the "Yingluo Sutra". The first thing the Buddha taught us is, "Don't miss out on national taxes." How many people are trying their best to evade taxes, which is not allowed by Buddhism. It is wrong for Buddhist disciples not to fulfill their obligation to pay taxes. This is a violation of the precepts. Paying taxes is the obligation of the people. The country relies on taxation and uses this revenue to build the country. The government treasury is empty and there is no money to engage in many construction projects, and the people will be unhappy. So what is tax? Paying taxes is to benefit society and benefit the people. This is the first charity and we should fulfill our obligations. Article 2: "Do not violate the national system." The national system is the law of the country, and you must abide by the law.

Think about these four precepts. If a political leader reads Buddhist scriptures and knows these four precepts, he will definitely welcome them and he will take the initiative to promote Buddhist education. Many people ask: What is Dharma? What is evil law? These four precepts are the standards for defining what is evil and what is right. Those who do not know how to love their country and nation, tend to foreign countries, and bully their own country are traitors to the country and this is not Buddhism.

Slandering national leaders, criticizing national administration, separating people's emotions, and instigating ethnic disputes are not Buddhist disciples. Buddha has never taught this way.

Tax evasion, all over the world, China and foreign countries. Foreigners used to be honest. At the time of Mr. Fang Dongmei, when I studied with him, it was more than 40 years ago. He once told me that fifty years ago, fifty years ago at that time, and now add forty years, ninety years ago, he said that Americans at that time were very cute, and Americans had a sense of justice. Now Americans have been assimilated by the Orientals, and Americans have learned all the clever tricks the Orientals use to evade taxes. Through cultural exchanges, we learned their bad things, and they learned our bad things. Don’t learn the good ones, only learn the bad ones. I also learned to evade taxes and embezzled. If we only focus on interests and selfishness, there will be no morality. Exploiting loopholes in the law is a crime. The Buddha taught us, "Don't be a traitor to the country," "Don't slander the Lord," "Don't leak national taxes," and "Don't violate the country's system." This is how Buddhism teaches all sentient beings to love the country. If you can do these four things, you can be called patriotic; if you can't do these four things, patriotism is fake and not real. Every word of what the Buddha taught us has profound meaning.

The "Great Collection Sutra" also tells us that he said that if there is no Buddha in the world, this is also hypothetical, but it is actually true. The Dharma of Sakyamuni Buddha lasts for twelve thousand years. Twelve thousand years have passed, and there is no more Buddha in the world. The fifth Buddha in the Xian Kalpa is Maitreya Bodhisattva, who appears and has become a Buddha. This time is very long. The Maitreya Sutra tells us when will he come again? Fifty-six billion years later. In other words, after 5.6 billion years, after the arrival of Sakyamuni Buddha's Dharma, there was no Buddha in this world for such a long time. It was only when Maitreya Buddha descended to preach the Dharma that the Dharma appeared. That's why the Buddha often said in the sutras: "The human body is hard to come by, and the Dharma is hard to hear." It's really not easy! We just happen to be born in these twelve thousand years before you encounter the Buddha Dharma. When there was no Buddha Dharma, the Buddha said, "Doing good to your parents means doing good to the Buddha." So we know why Shakyamuni Buddha left the matter of saving all sentient beings to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva after Buddhism was eliminated in this world. He did not entrust Guanyin Bodhisattva, nor did he entrust great Bodhisattvas such as Manjusri and Samantabhadra, but only entrusted him to Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva. What does it mean? Ksitigarbha Bodhisattva represents filial piety and respect for teachers. When there was no Buddhism in the world, if you knew how to be filial and respect your teachers, it would be the same as serving the Buddha. This is the meaning of the expression, and we all need to understand it.

Buddha’s teachings begin with marriage. The first sentence of the Three Blessings of Pure Karma is, "Follow your parents and serve your teachers." Buddhists start here and reach perfection here. After thousands of sutras and long kalpas of practice, these two things will be perfected in the end, and once they are completed, you will become a Buddha. Once you understand the principles of filial piety and respect for teachers and implement them perfectly in your life and how you deal with others, you will become a Buddha. From this we can see that what thousands of scriptures and forty-nine years of sayings say? It's nothing more than talking about the great principles of filial piety and teacher's way, and the implementation of filial piety and teacher's way. This is what the Buddha said.

Speaking of the ultimate place, the Buddha taught us that all living beings in the void Dharma Realm are our parents and teachers. It is difficult for beginners to understand this statement. The deeper you go into it, the more you will find that these two words of the Buddha make sense. When will you be able to accept it for sure? consciousness. The first-time Bodhisattva of the Mahayana Perfect Teaching accepted it, had no doubts at all, and followed it seriously. From the first abode to the final enlightenment, this Bodhisattva is at the forty-first level. What does he practice? It’s nothing more than the implementation of this concept. People in the Ten Dharma Realms can only say that they heard this statement from the Buddha. Even if they do not object, there is no way to confirm it. Why? I can’t let go of my delusional thoughts and separation. There are still distinctions and attachments, so it can only be heard, "I heard this from the Buddha. I am not sure whether it is true or not." This is because we ordinary people respect the Buddha and dare not refute it. I am not a Buddhist, and I have no respect for Buddha, so I criticize him. What the Buddha said is true, and it must be verified with wisdom and practice. Okay, the time is up today, let’s stop here.

Do not violate the national system - if Buddhist practitioners cannot even abide by the national system well, then let alone the Buddhist precepts!

No leakage of national taxes - national taxes are collected from the people and used by the people! Leaking national taxes is equivalent to a debt owed to the people of the whole country!

Do not slander the leader of the country - the leader of a country is the representative symbol of a country. If you even slander the representative symbol of your own country, are you still a member of this country? What's more, Master Huineng, the Sixth Patriarch, said: "If you really cultivate Taoism, you will not see the faults of the world"; "Infinite Life Sutra": "Be good at protecting your reputation and not ridicule others' faults"

Don't be a traitor to the country - this It’s very clear to everyone that you don’t learn anything at all!

============================================ ===================================

A true Buddhist must be diligent, thrifty and patriotic; A true Buddhist must be able to strictly observe the precepts, and a true Buddhist must be able to serve the people wholeheartedly. Anyone who is contrary to the above numbers is a fallacy of wrong views, a descendant of Bo Xun, and not a follower of my master Jiawen's teachings. This shows why my master understands and practices Buddha Dharma in this world.
