What is the core of the action form of China classical dance?
The action form of China classical dance is centered on "circle", which originates from the simple and materialistic view of nature of the Chinese nation. "Circle" means pursuing "perfection" inward and "fraternity" outward, which is inclusive and broad in life cultivation and represents the harmonious state between man and nature, body and mind, and heaven and earth. In the dynamic dance "circle", static elements such as twisting, leaning, hugging, inserting, moving, rushing and leaning are connected with each other, forming the movement tracks of "flat circle", "vertical circle" and "figure-eight circle", always seeking a balance between receiving and releasing, static and moving, loosening and tightening, and paying special attention to the smooth and circuitous "line" in the movement.
