Li Ruidong (1851—1917), a famous Shu Xun, whose real name is Hou Wen, whose real name is Ruidong, nicknamed Mister Mister Mister, is generous and called "Little Meng Changjun". A native of Donghou Street, Wuqing County, Zhili in Qing Dynasty (now East Street of Chengguan Town, wuqing district, Tianjin). Li Ruidong paid an audience with famous martial arts masters, made friends with heroes and chivalrous men, and absorbed the essence of martial arts at home and abroad. In the end, what he learned was transformed into something new, and Li Tai Ji Chuan was created.
Li Ruidong's ancestral home was in Shaanxi, and he settled in Wuqing with the great migration during Yongle period of Ming Dynasty. Thanks to the Shanxi merchants, he knew the business of Chinese herbal medicine like the back of his hand, and was called "Li's Medicinal Material". During the period of Qin Long in Ming Dynasty, after the completion of Wuqing Brick City, the business of the Li family became more and more prosperous. During the Wanli period, Li opened medicinal materials, pharmacies, porcelain goods and grain stores in Wuqing City under the family name "Jishengtang", and his "Jishengtang" set up branches in Shandong and Tongzhou. The Li family gradually became rich, and chose to build a house in the East Back Street (the former residence) of the city, land in the north of Yongle Store in Tongzhou, and become a famous trade official in the south of Beijing. He once hung the sign of "Double Thousand hectares" on the imperial seal. Jishengtang has a history of more than 300 years in the Li family. Three generations of Li are all officials. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, his father was still working in Wuqing County and was called "Zali".
At the age of 5, Li Ruidong studied chanting with the teacher in Shuzhong, and at the age of 7, he studied martial arts with the "Great Guide Sun". At the age of 2, Li Ruidong was recommended by the head of Guandi Temple in the county to study Shaolin by Han Daochang, the head of DongGuandi Temple in Lisancheng. During the Tongzhi period, Li Laosui, a martial artist from Raoyang, Hebei Province, came to Dongmafang to preach the baseboard, and Han Daochang recommended Li Ruidong to learn from Li Laosui.
Wang Lanting had the greatest influence on Li Ruidong's life. Wang believes that kindergarten teachers are both civil and military, and they are trained all their lives; Reading classics and reciting history, Zen Buddhism and Taoism; Gong Wu, with profound knowledge, will surely become a model for our school to carry forward. Wang will take him to Yue Qingshan (a descendant of Yue Fei), Dong Haichuan (talking about Yin Fu), and Haichuan monk in Songshan Shaolin Temple (talking about Huihai or Longchan). Or recommend him as a teacher or make friends, so that he can combine the essence of famous martial arts, and finally worship Gan as a teacher indifferently. Under the guidance of many famous martial arts masters, Li Ruidong gradually grew into a generation of martial arts masters.
Lanting fled into an empty net and left a letter for Li Ruidong to read again ten years later. 10 years later, Li opened the letter and found that it was a picture of Wudang Mountain, a diagram left by Wang, but found that the diagram hidden at the bottom of the wooden box was moth-eaten and illegible. Li Ruidong and Si Xinsan (Tianjin native), who is also in charge of copywriting in Wang Fu, decided to visit Wang Lanting in Wudang Mountain. They searched the mountain for several days, but there was no sign of the king. Senior Li Pai introduced that Li Ruidong went to Wudang Mountain to pursue Wang Lanting more than once, but all failed.
After Wang Lanting's disappearance, Duanwang Zaiyi (Prince _) studied under Li Ruidong. I studied with Yang Luchan early in the morning. When Yang was old, Wang Lanting gave it to him. Re-discussion was born in Xianfeng for six years (1856), aged 34. Li's family has collected many teacher-worshipping posts, among which Yi is the most exquisite, equivalent to three folds, which records the date of birth and so on.
In the 20th year of Guangxu (1894), the imperial court held a grand celebration for Cixi's 60th birthday in the main hall of the Summer Palace. Then he took his teacher and Li's big disciple to the scene to entertain the performance. After practicing a set of auxiliary boxing, Li Ruidong showed his acrobatic skills. Suddenly, he jumped onto the top beam of the Summer Palace Hall with the "white crane spreading its wings", and walked among the beams as light as a swallow and bowed. Cixi was fascinated and blurted out: "It's really an eagle!" This is the origin of Li Ruidong's gift of "Condor". When Li Jinxiu performed "Shaolin Eight Styles", he did see the blue bricks burst under his feet, which won applause. "Eagle Nose" and "Iron Feet" plums appeared in Ouchi, which were widely circulated in Beijing. On the recommendation of Zai Feng and many princes, Li Ruidong entered the palace, and was soon appointed as the Four Sword Guards and martial arts instructor.
190 1 year, Cixi returned to Beijing from xi 'an. On the way, Cixi was forced by Eight-Nation Alliance's arrogance to "suppress" Zaiyi, who supported the fight against the allied forces, and was taken to Xinjiang. Soon, Li Ruidong was forced to leave the palace, live incognito in Dongzhimen, Beixinqiao and Huangmi Hutong in Beijing, and then return to his home in Wuqing.
Li Ruidong returned to Wu Qing's home. On the one hand, he devoted himself to creating boxing, on the other hand, he also received many visits from celebrities and martial arts heroes. During this period, Li Ruidong was most worried about the people's indifference to national consciousness and the decadence of national spirit; This period is an important period for Li Ruidong's thought and personality to become independent and mature.
In the second year of Qing Dynasty (19 10), facing the dawn of the Revolution of 1911, Li Ruidong came to Tianjin to set up a "Wushu Club" with the national justice of "uniting people's hearts and strengthening the country by force", and met Ye and Ma Fengtu, members of the League led by Sun Yat-sen, and carried out activities in Tianjin. The "Wushu Club" with the aim of unity, cohesion and inspiration coincides with the opinions of Ye and Ma Fengtu. At that time, "Wudehui" was located in Hebei Quanyehui Park (now Zhongshan Park). Ye, Ma Fengtu and so on. Considering that "Wushu Club" has a good purpose, it has limitations in appeal. In order to attract and unite Wulin chivalrous men and social elites and exert greater influence, they renamed "Tianjin Gate Wushu Club" as "Chinese Wushu Club", and joined hands with martial arts masters such as Xingyimen Li Cunyi and Baguamen Zhang Zhaodong to build it.
The "Three Heroes in the North" of "Chinese Wushu Club" has a distinct nationalist stance, which shows the indomitable quality and chivalrous spirit of Chinese sons and daughters in their bones, and has made outstanding contributions to popularizing Chinese Wushu and strengthening people's physique.
