This book is a rare interdisciplinary monograph on personality in China, which is widely quoted by academic circles. Qu Wei was awarded the thesis prize (1988) at the theoretical discussion meeting of the Third Plenary Session of the Tenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for his outstanding achievements in personality research.
